Zone leaders Manning's High "A" advanced to the round of 16 after defeating Hampton B in their final match at Munro. Before that they gave a convincing performance in their 4-0 victory over Munro "B"

MBCC "A" were upset by Hampton "A" when Hampton A held them to a 2-all draw yesterday Tuesday December 5 in their final match at the Western chess association office, in Montego Bay.

Munro A and Mannings B are nowjoint first placers from Zone "A" and the tiebreak will determine which of these two teams will advance to the round of 16.

"Manning's High and Mbcc"A" set to advance to the Second Round of the RBTT High School Championships."

Zone leaders Manning's High "A" are now set to top zone 5a after a convincing 4-0 victory against Munro "B" in their last match. They now only one match remaining against Hampton "B" tommorow at Hampton.

MBCC "A" are also set to Top Zone 5B after registering a 3-2 victory against MUnro A last week friday at MBCC.

In other matches, MBCC "B" registered back to back 4-0 victories aganst Munro "B" and Hampton "B" while Munro "A" defeated MBCC girls 4-0 to maintain chances of qualifying for the 2nd round playoffs.
