Two Sections, Open and Under 1800
Four Intense Rounds,
All Games will be Rated
Swiss Pairing System

Time Control
Game in 90 Minutes

Schedule

Saturday October 30, 2004
Registration - 8:30-9:30
Round 1 - 9:30 a.m.
Round 2 - 2 p.m.

Sunday October 31, 2004
Round 3 - 9 a.m.
Round 4 - 1 p.m.

Prizes
Open Section
1st Place - J$6,000
2nd Place - J$4,000
3rd Place - J$2,500

Under 1800 Rated Section
1st Place - J$4,000
2nd Place - J$2,000
3rd Place - J$1,000
4th Place - J$500

Entry Fee for both Sections
Adults - J$600
Juniors - J$400

Doubles Team Component
This year’s tournament will have a team component. Any one player in the Open Section may team up with any one player from the Under 1800 Section before the tournament. The team with the highest cumulative score at the end of the tournament will win additional prizes. In order to form a team, each team member must pay an additional J$100 before Round 1 pairings are announced

Directions:
Crude directions to the venue have been attached as another word document. Basically drive on the Old Harbour Bypass or go through Old Harbour. Drive straight until you reach the May Pen Roundabout. Do NOT turn right into May Pen unless you want to enjoy the May Pen traffic. Instead continue straight until you reach another major turnoff on the right. Turn right onto this road. Continue a little distance until you reach Glenmuir High on the left.
