The Trailwalker 2002
Completing the Trailwalker 2002 was the biggest achievement for me in 2002. Many people thinks that it isn't really a big deal, and I admit that I am one of them before. But I am qualified to say it because I have tried it. So if you haven't, I strongly encourage you to do so. And I hope that you think it's meaningful afterall.
Our team consisted of 4 male walkers, so it should be easier to manage than mixed team. Lap Shan is a well-experienced hiker, Alfred is on the other hand a long runner. And I am confident with Steve and myself. So at the very first I really overestimate our ability. Later on, when we found that Lap Shan was not in a very good condition and even worse is that Steve hurt his leg by being bitten by a dog in his vacation. We really worried about whether we could finish the event in whole team. Thanks God, we made it!
There are many strategies and tips about completing the trail, but as I am not an expert, I'd better leave it to the experts. All I want to say here is to thank again all the supporters for my team. We got the honor, but you the supporters are true heroes!
