What
is House Party?
House Party is an expansion pack for The Sims, like Livin It Up. It expands gameplay potential by adding new interactions, objects, wallpapers, floors and houses. The Sims is needed to play House Party.
Some new features of House Party are:
- The mechanical bull
- The mime who comes if your party is a bit lame
- The bubble maker for some relaxing soothing fun
- New Cowboy, Hawaiian and Rave themes
The main point of House Party is for Sims to interact in groups - this is done by throwing a party (there is a new feature in the telephone). Also, to fill up punch bowls and to stuff some simulated faces, you can now hire a caterer to take care of all your culinary needs. The costume trunk is certainly a plus, you can dress up as a cool Hawaiian one minute, then be riding that bull as a western cowboy the next. The only quibble I have with it is getting it installed. There is a similar problem with Livin It Up, but it works fine when reinstalled.
