Raised in an elven village, many of the elves knew that Quarion would follow in his father's footsteps, despite the fact of living with his mother.  Quarion trained as a fighter in his youth, along side his mother who was a ranger for the elven clan.  His father was a human paladin who helped the elves in fending off an Orc attack.  After his father died, Quarion left to travel the world and find his calling in life.  But his calling found him as he came across a church of Tyr, the Just God.  There he found himself walking towards his new found faith and undertook training as a paladin of Tyr, just like his father.  After a few attacks from Bane, Talos and Cyric worshipers, Quarion made it his life goal to train and become a Divine Champion of Tyr so that he may better serve in his god's will.  Teaming up with an unlikely group of adventurers, Quarion accomplished much in his paladin career, from braving an entire church of false worshipers to rescuing kidnapped civilians.  Quarion's most troubled time was when he had to deal with a Bane-worshiping Gorgon that had been polymorph into a donkey.  In no short time, Quarion was recognized as a Divine Champion in the eyes of Tyr.  Quarion was putting an end to unruly undead lords when he died from a fellow wizard's spell gone a weary due to a wild magic zone.
