| I am a 20 year old female who has been "blessed" with acne since the age of 12. As for severity, I'd say it is moderate, but VERY persistant and troublesome. I've only ever had maybe five cysts in my life, but at any given time I'll have what seems like a million pimples. I've tried EVERYTHING, staticin, retin A, tetracycline, minocycline, even Diane-35 since I was 16, and nothing has ever helped. I've been debating about taking this drug for a couple of years now, and always decided that the side effects were too severe and that I'd probably "grow out of" my acne. No such luck! So my journey begins, 60mg of Accutane a day for 5 months. Good luck to everyone out there! |
