Hello hello!
Hope you are all doing as well as I am. It's been a month (less 2 days) since I've been off Accutane, and let me tell you, it was worth it! The side effects are all GONE and my face is beautiful (as far as skin is concerned!) I have not had a zit in sooo long, my face is completely smooth and all one color! I have a few minor darker spots, but really, they're nothing! I now know what it is like to go outside, to work, shopping, etc with not a SPECK of makeup on and I feel GREAT! I wear makeup now for FUN, and boy is it great for it to not be a neccessity! Even my hair, which was completely fried has pretty much returned to normal and I had a friend compliment on it today saying how "healthy" it looks. My skin no longer falls off in chunks, and my nose is all one piece with no nasty crusties (eww) inside. So, my message...DON'T DESPAIR...if there was hope for me, surely there is for you! Oh, there is one thing I am mad about...I do have a few fairly obvious scars on my right arm from where the skin fell off and I had Accutane rash. The hair has grown back in on these now, and it's much darker than the rest of the hair on my arm (I AM a girl *L*) and I find it kinda embarrassing although I doubt anyone else notices. I'm gonna try to bleach these tiny spots and see what happens, I'll let ya know if I ever update again. My face isn't even dry anymore, it has that "healthy glow" that I seriously didn't believe existed before this, it's crazy! I never even get greasy, just nicely moisturized. Honestly, I couldn't be happier (like ya didn't notice!) and I am sooooo glad I did this. The most improvement happened in the month I've been off Accutane, so even if you don't see results by the time your treatment is over, don't worry, things will soon be looking up for ya!
