Welcome, your student
is in my 7th grade Art class and I want to see every student
succeed.
The entire school is focusing on writing skills this year. Writing skills are very important in today’s world. In art writing is especially related to ordering of thoughts and expressing ideas clearly so I will be stressing sequencing as well as formal English grammar and usage.
Points can be lost as well as earned. Students are expected to have pens, pencils, paper and a small pencil sharpener at all times. A student who is not prepared or who does not turn in homework or class work will lose points. Even one missing assignment will really hurt a student’s grade.
The following projects are tentatively planned: One Point Perspective, Leaded Glass, Fantastic Machines, Contour Drawing, Watercolors, Clay, Mosaics, Clay Decorating, Picture Completion, and Origami. If time permits other projects may be added. By using the links above you should be able to find out what your child has been assigned, when it is due and how to do it. This site is for your use, I hope it succeeds in helping you and the school to stay in touch.

My 2nd period conference period is from 9:40 to 10:25 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday it is easiest to just leave a message.
