A well run classroom is one that recognizes and utilizes the fact that a well placed structure need not be heavy-handed and restrictive, but rather invisible and facilitating. A generalized discipline plan can be effective in many classrooms, providing order and efficiency to structured and unstructured lessons, transitions, and general day-to-day classroom life. Below I have provided 2 models for classroom management, one general, and one for physical education class, where safety and time issues take on even greater importance.
