Shazzuk One-eye Orc Great Shaman

Shazzuk wielding Ditto's Doo-dahs. I thought of it as a sort of staff, with two skulls in this case.

Shazzuk was once Umms advisor and the tribe's Shaman. When Umm died, Shazzuk wisely decided to follow Orgat. He aquired an odd looking talisman after a raid on an imperial caravan they stumbled on ("Look! 'Umies! Waaagh!") One day in the woods, Shazzuk came across a young boar. Wanting the fierce beast for himself, he cought it and trained the boar for battle thereafter. Sharpteef the boar was called, for even though Shazzuk is educated enough to read magical scrolls, he's still an orc, and has little imagination. Shazzuk never told about the accident, battle or whatever befell him to cause him to loose his eye, and gain his nickname. Everyone simply knows him only like that, with one eye cut out. The Goblins that later joined Orgat's army brought along a magical staff. They claimed it had belonged once to Goblin Shaman Ditto. At that time, Shazzuk was still the only shaman in the army, so naturally all that looked, smelt, tasted or even distinctly felt magical went by him. And this staff, he gladly used.

Shazzuk was painted Goblin Green, washed with Green Ink and lightly highlighted with Camo Green. The fur on the boar and cloak were undercoated Chaos Black, painted Scorched Brown and then drybrushed Bestial Brown. The Bones of the staff I painted using thinned down Brown Ink over a Skull White undercoat, Drybrushed with Bleached Bone. A little bit of Green Ink to represent the Waaagh! magic was used as a finishing touch in the eye holes and mouths of the skulls. Shazzuk was made out of a plastic Orc Boss, from the Orcs and Goblins Batallion box. His sword-arm was taken from one of the Orc Warriors from that same box, as that fitted better. The armour was filed off of his body, knees and boots. The cape is from a Chaos Marauders box, and the staff, Ditto's Double Doing Doo-Dahs, was made of parts of the Skeleton Warrior regiment box, the command sprue of which can also be found in the Night Goblins box. And from that same sprue, I used the bones of one of the severed hands as an earring for Shazzuk.
