| Phass's goblin regiment | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Warboss Umm didn't believe in the power of Goblins. Nor does Orgat. But he accepts them all the same, be it as cannon fodd... err, I mean, the important guys who go first. These goblins are the last remains of an army that fought off a Chaos army, and on the way back was attacked by the undead. They were the only to come through victorious, though all their spears were broken. So, they did what any Goblin would do: scavenge for weapons. And they did find lots of shiney stuff amongst the remains of the battles. Phass took up the lead of the remaining goblins, him being the only Boss still left in the army, and made himself a new regiment from any goblin who'd join him. Phass had heard from what befell Umm, so he tried his best to join with Orgat. And it worked. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Some of these deserve some attention: The goblin with the hearing-horn, Phass himself, two goblins with torches, one simply has an arrow sticking through his shield, and the last one has a mace made of rolled-up cardboard. The rest of the regiment simply has their spears replaced with handweapons. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| These goblins all had their spears cut off and I replaced them with hand weapons from any kind I could find (the Hordes of Chaos Marauder regiment box and the Tomb Kings Skeleton Warrior regiment box). Note the goblin on the left hand side in the last rank, he's holding a horn for better hearing made from a Goblin trumpet. Wouldn't want him guarding your rear... The Goblins were painted Goblin Green (doh), washed with Green Ink and drybrushed Camo Green. The armour was done in the same way as for the Orcs and the clothes, to make them look scavenged, are in different hues of natural tones. |
