Forever In The Orchard When owls hoot and badgers snore, Its time to study ancient lore, Where catkins danced in the breeze, I sniffed out magick with a sneeze, In and ancient forest by a lake, I suddenly realized I was wide-awake, As I sat silently by the shore, I dreamed a dream of a magick door, I passed through the door to a bygone age, There I was greeted by a merry mage, In flowing robes of rainbow hues, That went all the way to his pointy shoes, What took you so long I hear him cry, I dont understand, I dont know why, All your life Ive waited here for you, How could you forget a friend so true He sits down silently by my side, He is my friend, my teacher, my guide, I dont know how I could have forgotten, I hear myself say, When I have felt you beside me every step of the way, Silently in unison our hearts begin to talk, As through the forest we start to walk, Ah my friend, I missed you so, I was so foolish, how could I know, That you were so close, I could not see, That you were there watching over me, Forever in the orchard thats what you swore, All I ever had to do was step through the door, Our hearts talk of love and many things, As we watch sunlight bounce off a fairies wings, A serious look stumbles across his face, And I know its time to cut to the chase, I brought you here to talk to you, And now you know my love is true, A time of chaos is at hand, As mysterious forces cross the land, A time of omens of things to come, Fulfilling the prophesies in my sacred tome, To awaken the forces in places of power, Just whisper the name of the mage in the tower, The same thing goes for the legions of trees, But always make sure you say it in threes, Wherever you go keep me in mind, Wherever you go, Im not far behind, Know my love you are always safe, In my protection you must have faith, Hear my voice echo in your heart, And you will realize we are never truly apart, But for now you must walk alone, Between the golden dawn and the twilight zone, Just follow the clues set in place, Take your time its not a race, Piece by piece the jigsaw takes its form, Of something extraordinary, not the norm, When the time comes you will know what to do, Just remember my words that my love is true, Remember in the orchard it was forever we swore, He said as he escorted me back to the magical door, He told me to focus on the Inner Light, As he disappeared out of sight.
