Mirror Of Fate Flotsam the sea green sprite, Haloed in shimmering blue moonlight, Dances atop the iridescent waves, Ever onwards unto the starlight caves, She scours the world for her soulmate, Seeking him on through twists of fate, She seeks throughout the seven seas, Catching his name echo in the breeze, Astride a screaming white seahorse she flies, Amid a host of spectral butterflies, She whirls eddying into loves bleak soul, To golden gate and karmic toll, Onwards across mystic realms unseen, Through all the cosmos she has been, To places concealed from human eye, Returning to earth with a disappointed sigh, He was etched on her soul before her birth, Like a bubbling froth of primal mirth, Sunlight glints off his silver thread, Why is this enigma attached to her head, In his cave hes patiently waited, For her to discover whats been fated, Hidden for years behind mundane veil, Waiting for her to cross the pale, Destiny whispers hes the one, Another step closer and then hes gone, Dissolved in her body of saline tears, Flying inside her throughout the years, Her Grail reflects in deaths dark pool, Revealing to her the face of a fool, With silver threads merged in herself, Shes face to face with animus the elf, So if like me your sanity you would keep, Look deep; look very, very deep, Dont waste your lives on mythical elves, Just look deep inside yourselves.
