How about Egypt How about Egypt, do you remember that? Vague memories of a large black cat, Do you remember the desert, the grains of sand? Do you remember the shape, colour and hue of your hand? The sandstone temples, the winding alleyways, a torch lit street, Do you remember the beloved face your hurrying to meet? Remember those beautiful liquid brown eyes, Walking together under Egypt starry skies, Do you remember the secret guarded by the sphinxs claw? Do you remember whats behind its hidden door? Remember the mysteries that were carved in stone, In that distant place you once called home, Remember the snake, the temple step, Remember the wisdom of Imhotep, Smell the insence burning in the temple now, Be in two places, you remember how, Send your soul outwards its vision to seek, Remember the gestures, the sacred words you speak, Fly down the silver threaded line, That connects your soul throughout all time, See the priest of Amun standing at the altar, Now concentrate, do not let your mind falter, Mirror the way he moves his hands, Be transported to Ancient lands, Amid the priesthood take your place, Just accept your wearing a different face, Accept the weaving of magick takes all time, As we play out lifes little mime, Time and time again we return, No matter how many times we end up in an urn, To learn our lessons and pick up our threads, Thats why these silver enigmas are attached to our heads, So we can hitch a ride on a Mayan Moonboat, As through the cosmos our souls float, To weave our threads throughout all history, Taking our place amid lifes great mystery, And still the Great Work goes on and on, And will until all misery is gone, For the Angels that walk the manifestation, They work the threads of the blueprint of creation, Just follow your silver thread, Its quite simple, the one attached to your head, And youll find your fingerprints frozen in time, All you have to do is follow your line, Have a look at what you were doing in Egypt and Atlantis too, And you will find many more aspects to what you call you, And when its all of eternity you are seeing, You will find you are no mere mortal being.
