Sarephim's World Of Magick

Nightingales Song

Poetry be the language of the stars above,
Speaking words of sacred love,
Calling me on to something greater,
Showing me the will of my creator,

The call in my heart pulls so strong,
To dance to Florence Nightingales Song,
To be more than I dare dream to be,
To find the strength inside of me,

Like Joan of Arc to break the mould,
To be like Boudicca, daring and bold,
Giving more than I have to give,
This is how I want to live,

My heart cries out to those in pain,
For whom life is but brittle rain,
Who cry rivers of anguished tears,
Caught in the grip of tormenting fears,

Come cry on my steady shoulder,
For it is stronger than a monolithic boulder,
For I too have been alone, cold and afraid,
And I too at the gate my karmic toll paid,

Life is not just about the dancing,
The singing, laughing or romancing,
Sometimes it is a serious woe,
When the tears and anguish flow,

My well of strength is deep and brimming,
So if your drowning instead of swimming,
Please come and drink your fill,
Of my strength, my love and good will,

Let me help you ease your pain,
Let me help you smile again,
Together we will survive this path,
And warm ourselves again by the divine hearth.
