ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਲੱਗਭਗ ੪੦੦੦ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਾਰੀ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝ ਆ ਸਕੇ। ਇਸ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਦਸ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦਾ ਨਾਮੁ, ਕੋਈ ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਥੇ ਗਏ ਅੱਖਰ ਜਾਂ ਸਬਦ ਦਾ ਰਟਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾਂ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਹੈ, ਸਬਦ ਹੈ, ਸਚੁ ਹੈ, ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿਠਾ ਹੈ, ਰਸੁ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈ, ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਜਲ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ, ਗੁਪਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਵਰਤ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੁਗੋ ਜੁਗ ਅਟੱਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਹੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ। ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰੇਕ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਰਤ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਰਤ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਤੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਟਿਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਨਾਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮੁ, ਰਚਨਾ, ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਤੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ। ਜੇ ਕਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਾਮੁ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਉਂਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣਾਂ ਤੇ ਖੋਜਣਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿਚਰਨਾ ਹੈ, ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤੇ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚਲਣਾਂ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਚਿਆਰ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਪਰਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਸਕੀਏ।

According to Guru Granth Sahib, the Naam of Akal Purkh is a very vast subject. This is the reason that in the Guru Granth Sahib, more than 4000 times information has been given about Naam in different ways, so that the subject can be understood in detail. In this book, an attempt has been made to present in ten parts, the Naam of Akal Purkh according to the Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib. According to the Gurbani, the Naam of Akal Purkh is not like a worldly name, which people use for communication. Repeatedly reciting any certain letter or word, has got nothing to do with the Naam of Akal Purkh. According to Guru Granth Sahib, the Naam of Akal Purkh is Hukam, Shabad, Truth, Pure, Sweet, Pleasing, Amrit, etc. Naam is operating in a secret form throughout the universe and it is also residing in the hearts of Gurmukhs. According to Gurbani, all the Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib is Naam. Naam of Akal Purkh is operating everywhere all the time and every living or non-living being is functioning according to His Naam. The purpose of obtaining Naam is to get information about His Hukam, Creation, Principles of the Akal Purkh and to develop love and respect for His creation. If we want to obtain Naam, then we have to understand and research on the Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib, practically apply that in our daily life, Understand the Hukam of Akal Purkh, spend our life according to His Hukam and Will, so that we can become Sachyaar (Truthful) and get accepted in His court.

ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਧਰਮ ਤੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਲਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਜੇਹੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਧਾਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵੀ ਅਜੇਹਾ ਹੀ ਕਹਿਣਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਨਾਲ ਮਤਭੇਦ ਹੋਣ, ਪਰੰਤੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਖੋਜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਤੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਹੈ। ਬਲਕਿ ਇਥੋਂ ਤਕ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ, ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੇ ੨੬ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਆਰੰਭਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਵਿਚ ਵਰਨਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਵਿਚ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ। ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਅਸਲੀ ਸੋਮਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਾਸ ਲੇਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਢਾਲ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋ ਸਕਿਆ ਹਾਂ।

In this book, information about Gurmat and science have been presented in 26 parts based on Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib. All these sections are briefly described in the introductory information so that the readers can understand easily. Guru Granth Sahib is the real source of knowledge on the subject of Gurumat and science, through which I have been able to acquire knowledge about Gurbani and science and present it in the form of a book.

ਅੱਜਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਸਕਿੰਟਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਦੂਰ ਦੂਰ ਤਕ ਸੁਨੇਹੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਗਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਵੀਡੀਓ ਰਾਹੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਦੂਰੀ ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਟੁਟ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਤੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਘਟਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਬੱਚੇ ਅਕਸਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਪਸੀ ਵਿਚਾਰਾ ਵਿਚ ਭਿੰਨਤਾ, ਰਹਿਣੀ ਬਹਿਣੀ, ਖਾਣ ਪੀਣ, ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਧਨ, ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ, ਆਦਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਕਸਰ ਅਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਿਨੇ ਵੀ ਧਾਰਮਕ ਹੋਣ, ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋਣ, ਪਰੰਤੂ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹੋਣ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਸੇਧ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਦੂਰੀ ਘਟਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਟੁਟ ਰਹੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੋੜੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਪਸੀ ਮੇਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਪਰਾਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੇ ੬ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਸਬਦ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਮਝਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਅਸਲੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ, “ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਮਾਤਾ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਪਿਤਾ” ਹੀ ਹਨ। ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਰੋਲ ਮਾਡਲ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਤੀਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਵਲ ਦਰਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਿਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਚਰਨ ਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਗੁਣ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤੇ ਰਜਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਦਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਝਣ, ਸਿਖਣ ਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਪਨਾਣ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਮ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਗਰ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਸੇਧ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੱਸੀ ਗਈ ਸਿਖਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।

Nowadays science has made great progress. In seconds, messages can be sent far and wide. We can chat and have video viewing. Despite all this, the distance between parents and children is increasing, families are breaking up, relationships are decreasing. Children often disobey their parents. Differences in mutual opinion, living arrangements, food and drink, means of entertainment, ways of working, etc. are many subjects, due to which there are often disagreements in families. No matter how religious parents are, they may be going to Gurdwara Sahib daily, but it is not necessary that their children obey. An attempt has been made by taking guidance from Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib, how the distance between parents and children can be reduced, how broken families can be joined, how mutual reconciliation can be increased. An effort has been made to collect as much information as possible regarding this subject in the form of a book. An attempt has been made to present the collected information in 6 parts on the basis of Gurbani. It is very clear from Gurbani that our real parents are "Gurdev Mata Gurdev Pita". By acting as a role model for children, parents can help them to lead a successful life. Gurdwara Sahib can become a centre of education to impart first class education to children. High conduct and good qualities can be inculcated in children through Gurbani. By following the Hukam and Will of the Akal Purkh, we can become Sachyaar and always live in the state of Anand. The best and most effective way to understand, learn and adopt all these values in life is to get guidance from the Gurbani and adopt Gurbani as the basis of our day-to-day life.

ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਮੰਤਵ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵੱਲ ਮੋੜਨਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰੰਤੂ ਇਸ ਸੱਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਨਾਲ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਮਸਲੇ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਹਦ ਤਕ ਹਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਇਹੀ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ, ਦੇਵ ਲਫਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਥੇ ੧੦੦ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਸੀ, ਉਥੇ ਰੋਜਾਨਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਿਆ ਤੋ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿ, ਭੌਤਿਕ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ, ਰਸਾਨਿਕ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ, ਭੂਗੋਲ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ, ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਮੰਡਲ, ਜੀਵ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ, ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ, ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨ, ਆਦਿ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ, ਕੁਝ ਕੁ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਖਾਮੀਆਂ ਬੜੇ ਖੁਲੇ ਤੌਰ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਭਗਤ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕਈ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਗਤ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ, ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਸਨ। ਆਮ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਵੇਲੇ, ਇਹੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰੰਤੂ ਹੈਰਾਨਗੀ ਦੀ ਗਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ੧੫ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਇਕ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਜਿਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਇਕ ਭਗਤ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਜਿਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ੧੦ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ, ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ੭ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ ੩ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਜਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਤਰਤੀਬ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਮੇਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੁੰਦਾਂ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਗੁਰੂ ਗਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਇਹੀ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਗਤ, ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਚਨਾਂ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਸੇਧ ਵੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

The purpose of Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib is to mould the entire humanity towards the right direction of life. However, historical issues can also be resolved to some extent with the research of this true Gurbani. Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib indicates that the word Dev was not used with the names of Guru Nanak Sahib, Guru Angad Sahib and Guru Arjan Sahib. Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib proves that Guru Nanak Sahib had knowledge of more than 100 languages. Besides the teachings about the successful human life, he had deep knowledge about many other subjects; like, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Astronomy, Biology, Botany, Psychology, etc. Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib, clearly clarifies some of the historical flaws. How could Bhagat Ravidas Ji, mention about Bhagat Kabir Ji, if he was born many years before Bhagat Kabir Ji. Usually when talking about history, it is said that Guru Nanak Sahib collected the Bani of many Bhagats. But the surprising fact is that Guru Nanak Sahib has not mentioned about any of these 15 Bhagats in his Bani. Even Guru Angad Sahib has not mentioned about any Bhagat in his Bani. If we carefully analyse Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Arjan Sahib has mentioned about 10 Bhagats, Guru Ram Das Sahib has mentioned about 7 Bhagats and Guru AmarDas Sahib has mentioned about only 3 Bhagats. This arrangement gives evidence that the information about these Bhagats, must have started getting received during the period of Guru AmarDas Sahib and that information gradually increased with time. Hence, these evidences prove that all these Bhagats must have been after the era of Guru Nanak Sahib, and all these Bhagats also took guidance from Guru Nanak Sahib and later Guru Sahibs.
