This would be our first longer multipitch route and we were curious to see how long it would take us. Cane Trippa in Settore Sportivo, in the Parete Zebrata area is 200 m divided into seven pitches with friction climbing at grades ranging from 3c to 5c. Although a little vegetated the climbing was good and the views inspiring. After four hours we topped out almost at the same time as Barbara and Matteo who did Man-Ilia. Barbara and I had some energy left and did Via delle Mimose, 120 m, 3 pitches, with a difficult slippery first pitch and two enjoyable pitches with relaxing friction climbing. That night we ate Matteo's spaghetti con ragu bolognese and cake to celebrate a 35 year old.
