On May 30, 2006 Katarina, Barbara and I flew into Bergamo airport, picked up our Fiat Panda and drove towards Lago Garda. We arrived late at night and met our Italian friend Matteo in Riva del Garda. During the next nine days we did single and multi pitch sport climbing, and a few multi pitch trad routes. The links on the side is a day-by-day account of the climbing. The names indicate either the crag we visited or the route we climbed. Before going there, we ordered two guide books on the web site of the publisher Versante Sud: "Arco Rock" (in English) which mainly covers single pitch sports climbing, and "Pareti del Sarca" (in Italian with key information in German) which covers multipitch sports and trad climbing around Arco. The books were delivered to us in Sweden within four days. These books complement eachother nicely.
