I've also been studying music that was written by an Irish Bard named Turlough O'Carolan who lived between 1670-1738 and was blinded by the smallpox at the age of nine. He was apprenticed to a Harpist and traveled the land playing for royalty. He composed over five hundred tunes out of which two hundred are with us today.
