The Awen and Oneness
The Awen in Gwyddon Druid craft is the divine movement of the universe. It swipes across the mask of duality like a sword exposing the true essence, which is at the core of humanity on Earth.
The Awen is the symbol we use in Gwyddon Druid Craft that speaks of our Oneness. Each of the three rays of the Awen are three different paths that can bring a person to Oneness realized and inspiration. The Awen is each of our voices singing out from within the Grove that joins the perfect tone of universal harmony which is present everywhere. It is whole self awareness. Mind, body, and spirit brought back together by re-membering to be present in our whole self. Our mind is not our brain, our mind is our being, whole self. Our memories are also in our energy being, cellular memory tissue, where memories are kept, passed on from generation to generation and from lifetime to lifetime. This mind, body and spirit are One. As are the Druid triads Bard, Seer/Healer, and Druid.
Accepting our Oneness also means becoming more aware of our responsibilities towards our selves, others and nature. You see, no one put you here by mistake. The hard lessons are the negative experiences in your life. The only reason why they are so difficult is to draw more of your attention to it's knowledge that is there to learn and grow from. If we can only perceive from all directions and our whole self. These lessons we have chosen can distract us from our whole self or prepare us and give us strength for something greater if we can truly see them for what they are. We choose our lessons, we are not victims here, sometimes we need struggle in order to grow. What you put into it, is what you get out of it. Whether you succeed or fail is up to you.
The harmony we create when we work together as Druids is as great as the inner harmony of our inspiration. In the place that is not a place, in a time where there is No-Time, when we gather as a Grove or go solitary. That place is the place of raw power where you experience the correct flow of energy and participate in creating it as well. The Awen however, is a conciousness by itself. It knows where to go without directions. Just like a new plant can sense where to get the most sunlight, even before it grows out of the ground, it's new sprouting leaves are already facing towards the warm rays.
