Apple Button Choker
I was raiding my mother's old button collection and found these cute pink apple buttons she must have had when we were little. I thought they would look really nice on a choker, so I designed this. I had identified several little girls to give it away to, but... they are still in my possession.
I wanted a nice ornament to hang on my rearview mirror so I designed and made a crescent moon and star out of green and white variegated kitchen cotton. I have made a few of these for my family and other Muslims but I think each time they are a little different, mainly because doing the crescent is always difficult so the "pattern" is adjusted each time.
Scrunchies
I finally found the elastic pony tail holders suitable for making scrunchies and one night I sat down and made a few out of some scrap yarn. Of course, they've all been given away since then. Very nice quick gifts, and you can always wing it when it comes to the pattern !
Chairmat
I made this for my sister while visiting her apartment when she had just moved in. I made it up as I went along, using yarnfrom her stash that would match her decor. Only managed to make one.Click here to see another view of chairmat
