| 5 November 2002 Dashing Derby AN interesting addition to the Channel 7 marquee, albeit very briefly, was Neighbours star Blair McDonough, who got in with a little help from his old boss, Peter Abbott, Mr Big Brother himself. We're guessing Seven management couldn't have been happy with him being there, and Blair - sans girlfriend Delta Goodrem - admitted to us that the vibe he got from the Seven crew wasn't great. His funky brown safari suit, an op-shop find, cost him just $34. He was more at home in the stylish Tooheys New Lounge, where he belted out Commitments classic Mustang Sally during karaoke time. Blair must have a bit of a thing for Mustangs - he was seen recently arriving at the Nunawading set in a red one. 5 November 2002 Neighbours Flick Scully has just scored her driving licence, and with the guy she loves by her side, the sexy blonde can't wait to get behind the wheel and leave dust in her wake. Not surprisingly, boyfriend Stuart Parker (Blair McDonough) is only too keen to spend some time alone with the gorgeous Flick (Holly Valance) � but is tragedy about to befall the adventurous young couple? As Flick drives through the countryside this week in Neighbours, Stuart (Blair McDonough) falls asleep. Flick tries to wake him, but suddenly loses concentration and crashes! "They're on their way to a bit of a bush retreat-type of holiday, but Flick takes her eyes off the road when she wakes Stuart," Blair explains. In a heart pounding moment, Flick manages to escape out the back door as the vehicle teeters on the edge of a cliff. "I will literally step off the plane and go into two weeks of rehearsals the next day," said Blair yesterday of the gig which will see him in the UK from November.
