| 5 November 2002 Dashing Derby AN interesting addition to the Channel 7 marquee, albeit very briefly, was Neighbours star Blair McDonough, who got in with a little help from his old boss, Peter Abbott, Mr Big Brother himself. We're guessing Seven management couldn't have been happy with him being there, and Blair - sans girlfriend Delta Goodrem - admitted to us that the vibe he got from the Seven crew wasn't great. His funky brown safari suit, an op-shop find, cost him just $34. He was more at home in the stylish Tooheys New Lounge, where he belted out Commitments classic Mustang Sally during karaoke time. Blair must have a bit of a thing for Mustangs - he was seen recently arriving at the Nunawading set in a red one. 5 November 2002 Neighbours Flick Scully has just scored her driving licence, and with the guy she loves by her side, the sexy blonde can't wait to get behind the wheel and leave dust in her wake. Not surprisingly, boyfriend Stuart Parker (Blair McDonough) is only too keen to spend some time alone with the gorgeous Flick (Holly Valance) but is tragedy about to befall the adventurous young couple? As Flick drives through the countryside this week in Neighbours, Stuart (Blair McDonough) falls asleep. Flick tries to wake him, but suddenly loses concentration and crashes! "They're on their way to a bit of a bush retreat-type of holiday, but Flick takes her eyes off the road when she wakes Stuart," Blair explains. In a heart pounding moment, Flick manages to escape out the back door as the vehicle teeters on the edge of a cliff. However, Stuart is still trapped in the van as it goes over the cliff and looks set to ignite at any moment! 5 November 2002 Blair Does Panto Like a true soapie star, Neighbours Blair McDonough has recently signed up to do the panto Dick Whittington over Christmas in Canterbury, near London. "I will literally step off the plane and go into two weeks of rehearsals the next day," said Blair yesterday of the gig which will see him in the UK from November. Those lucky Londoners dont know what theyre in for! 5 November 2002 Splitsville in Soapie Land 22 October 2002 News Yes, he met and fell in love with Delta Goodrem on the set of Neighbours seven months ago (although he's not giving away any hints about what their first meeting was like "that's private"). And yes, he has signed up to do the panto Dick Whittington over Christmas in Canterbury, near London. "I will literally step off the plane and go into two weeks of rehearsals the next day," McDonough told Confidential yesterday of the gig which will see him in the UK from November. 29 July 2002 Official Neighbours Panto List 2002 Name: Blair McDonough (Stuart Parker) Role: Dick Whittington Production Venue: The Marlowe, Theatre The Friars, Canterbury Kent CT1 2AS, Ph: 01227 787787 Opens: 05th December, 2002 Closes: 19th January, 2003 25 April 2002 Opposites Attract (Pic) April 2002 Red Cross Calling (Pic) 14 December 2001 Neighbours (Season Finale) (Pic) 12 December 2001 Big Year for Big Brother's Blair (Pic) 11 December 2001 Blair's Debut (Pic) December 2001 G'Day, Ramsey Street - Blair Mc Donough (Pic) 20 October 2001 It Seems They Have Broken Up! From Bardot's Tour Managers Online Dairy! "Belinda Bardot calls and she is heading to town soon, as she poses ala natural for the wonderful BW magazine. She did it for herself, says she'll probably cop some crap from the media. It's out late November. She's in town soon so we'll hang out - she's fun....we need a good gossip. OK she really DID go out with Blair from BIG BROTHER...thankfully she woke up to herself (GRIN - those are my words). I'm sorry the guys a knob." Oh, poor Blair..... 9 October 2001 Blair Joins GF at Aria's? Why did Big Brother runner-up Blair McDonough make a quick exit from the Big Brother panto Starlight Foundation fundraiser last Wednesday night to go to the Aria awards? Maybe to join rumoured girlfriend Belinda Chapple of the television made band Bardot. 5 October 2001 Everybody Loves Blair While the polish has gone off a few of the crew, especially after this weeks appalling panto - the star above pretty boy Blair McDonough is still shining bright. At least the VRC still love him - it's invited him to Flemington's Turnbull Stakes tomorrow - and so do his teammates at the Heidelberg footy club. Don't know how he did it, but Blair somehow got the entire club invited to the races as well! Who Weekly September 2001 Big Brother's Blair Joins Neighbours! (Pic) 27 August 2001 And it seems that Blair, whose Neighbours filming schedule ruled him out of the game show, has been seriously playing down his dalliance with Bardot's Belinda Chapple. While he was coy last week about the skinny singer, saying they had met a few times, word at the Heidelberg Football Club, where Blair plays, is that a bit more than conversation and coffee-drinking has gone on. Rumour File 27 August 2001 Meanwhile, friends of Big Brother housemate Blair McDonough say that he has been seeing Bardot singer Belinda Chapple regularly, and not just catching up for a coffee now and then, as Blair claimed on Rove Live last week. McDonough said they were just friends. 20 August 2001 TEN's Blair Gets a Hand Network Tens newest Neighbours recruit, Big Brother runner-up Blair McDonough appeared on the networks Rove Live this week. And it appears as though he may have been undergoing media training. Compared to interviews on Channel Nines AFL Sunday Footy Show and the Channel Ten Big Brother-Beauty and the Beast special, after leaving the house, Blair has improved dramatically. Not only did he interview well on Rove Live but he also joked with Rove (McManus), showing he does have a media talent.
