| December 2001 G'Day, Ramsey Street - Blair McDonough OH, BROTHER MEET THE NEW NEIGHBOURS! Meet the two new faces moving into Ramsay Street - Blair McDonough and Kendall Nunn. Blair is already well known down under after his appearance in Big Brother, so it's about time the rest of the world caught up with this talented young man. We've also got news of an old faces returning, and it's goodbye to a much loved regular. Plays Stuart 'Chooka' Parker First appears: Thursday, December 13 in Australia, Wednesday, February 13 in UK About Stuart: Stuart, or Chooka as his mates know him, is the younger brother of one of Drew's best mates back in Oakey. On the surface, he's a knockabout fun loving guy, who values his mate above all else. Women, however, are a different story. While Stuart certainly has an eye for the ladies, he doesn't understand them and this has led to problems in the past. About Blair: Blair needs no introduction to Australians - his face is already one of the most recognisable on the small screen. Along with the twelve other members of the Big Brother household, Blair shot to national stardom in the first half of 2001 when he joined the fly-on-the-wall reality series. Blair ultimately came runner-up to overall winner Ben Williams, although some may argue he is the ultimate winner thanks to his role in Neighbours. "I never imagined that I would end up on Neighbours - it's been one hell of a rollercoaster ride," he says. "But I'm thrilled to be here and everyone has welcomed me with open arms. Stuart is a fairly likable guy and he's not that different to myself, which has made my job easy." Watch out for: Stuart makes his first appearance as the Oakey Rodeo, where Drew is competing for the main prize. Later, he surprises everyone by showing up in Erinsborough. It's not long before the local female population take note of his arrival, but who will Stuart set his sights on? |
