| Rivet Gun |
The entire body of a Land Rover is
put together with rivets. A rivet gun will also be handy
for putting in extra hooks, etc into the vehicle. |
| Grease Gun |
For keeping all the mechanical bits
and pieces working smoothly (hopefully). |
| Socket Sets |
We have two socket sets that we will
be taking along with us. |
| Torque Wrench |
The landrover manual lists the torque
required on all of the bolts. A Torque Wrench will hopefully
prevent us stripping too many bolts. |
| Wheel Spanner |
We have brought an extra strong chunky
wheel spanner for getting off the stubborn Landy wheel
bolts. Doubles up as a very competent self defence weapon. |
| Tyre Levers |
We've got a couple of big strong tyre
levers for changing/repairing punctures. The tyres all
have tubes - not the tubeless variety unfortunately. |
| Various |
The usual ensemble of pliers, wrenches,
spanners, grip shifts, etc. |
