| Hunting Knives |
Being the Rambo types that we are,
we've had to get a hunting knife each. Useful for picking
fingernails, eating biltong (the African improvement on
beef jerky). |
| Clothing |
We've had to pack a combination of
hot and cold weather clothing. We're expecting places
like the Namib Desert to be damn cold at night. The day
will be a completely different matter though. |
| Footwear |
Any serious traveler needs a pair
of boots and a pair of sandals. We're also taking along
running shoes - in the vague hope of keeping fit through
the journey. Although, driving Nyathi is a pretty good
workout in itself. |
