We don't NEED it, but it's nice

Just a word of thanks.  I have enjoyed each issue greatly. I am already looking forward to the May issue.

A Plug for Ray

Hi Ray;

I came across your article about spark plugs and I just want to say "Great article".  Do you write articles only for Rollin Mag?

Frank Vessella

Club Plug, Your Source for High Performance Spark Plugs on the Net! http://www.clubplug.net

Frank; Yes this is just one of my many hobbies in addition to a full time job and a fuller time family. I hope you enjoyed the rest of the magazine too. Ray

This Guy Tells it Like it is

Larry,

I agree with your POV in this month's column concerning veterans. You wrote a fine piece, very diplomatic. The point should be well taken. I am a Viet Vet (USMC), but that doesn't make me any different from other riders. It seems to me that some of the vets out there got the notion somewhere that they are the center of everything and should get a break or special deal all the time. It is like tooting your own horn, "Hey, look at me. I'm a veteran. I'm a hero. Gimme something." Whatever it is that they are hanging on to, they need to let it go. There's no room for politics in a riders' magazine - unless, of course, it pertains to motorcycles. I read your eZine because I ride and ride and ride.

Thanks to all of you for a fine eMag.

Steve Hunter

Nice Words From our Friend Skert

I enjoy the magazine and make sure to check out all the articles. Thanks for making me a part of it. [See Skert's article from March]

I will try to work on another article about my quest for the donations for Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation and my Iron Butt ride as soon as I am sure I am in.

You guys were so much fun at the at the motorcycle show.  When are we all going to be together again?

SKERT

We met up with Carol and her SO, Donnie, at the Smith's Crawfish Boil in McComb, MS. You'll find several shots of them and her bike in this month's story and photo pages.

Scoutmaster Mike's Followup

Thanks for using that pitiful article of mine, takes a lot of balls. You guys really made me feel good. I'm not a very good proofreader as you can tell by my journalism but the Mag. looks good. And, good article on the veterans Larry, you put it correctly. I'm ex-Air Force and a Vietnam era vet and I agree with you. Kind of fitting with the little bit about Ranger Camp and the Boy Scouts.

Once again guys, THANKS for having the nerve to publish the article. I'm on cloud nine.

Caption correx = new friend

Hi... On the Rollin' Bike Week pictures, the one with the caption: "Brits sure make pretty parts. Our publisher's Sprint next to a gorgeous Norton [Vincent]." That Green Sprint looks like the one in the parking lot near where I work, is that correct?

Dave Wood

Black Triumph Speed Triple

Dave; Thanks for the correction on the Vincent caption. Dave is now on our local group's mailing list and has joined us for Wednesday lunch at Cosmos.

You ride with us, you in da mag

Steve,

Too cool - Thanks for putting my picture on THE GREATEST BIKE SITE ON THE WWW! Was just thinking about you and Daytona a few days ago. I had a blast! Look forward to hooking up with you next March for Bike Week. Keep in touch.

Mr. Brown,

I really enjoyed your photos, especially the BUNS. That photo must have been the last one taken, because knowing all you guys, none of you would have seen anything else. I can't believe the dress of some of these women at bike week. I was working at the Daytona paper one week during bike week and the reporters brought some of the wildest pictures in and we all had good laughs. Looks like you guys had a good time.

I still enjoy reading Rollin eZine. You all keep having fun, life is too short not to.

Charlotte Wyman

Sorry, Charlotte, you got us wrong. That photo was actually snapped by Mr. Mate. Uhh, guess that means you got us right.
