(commentary)  we had no monitor at this game and no way to voice ourselves with no captains present.   luckily degen swung by and got the game under way.   we jumped on the lizards who only had 3 players to our 5.   game 1 was over in 4 rounds.   the lizards got another teammate to showup making it a more fair 5 on 4 situation and the score reflected that.   we led throughout winning 34-26.

The Rockers finished the season with a win and a big howl AAAHHHHHWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Someday we'll figure out which musicals contain works by stephen sondheim, but this time, I guess we didn't need to know.
YAY to The Ridic Players Club for another fun filled season! Congratulations and good luck to all in the playoffs.
Thanks to my team for the mvr vote!

Once again, the Rats came out Slobbering and casted in stone that we have claimed the first place position of the season! Our first cat of Army Forts gave us a 3-2 score.

The next cat, which was a double pointer, through us over the top to 15-6 with the Bands with numbers cat. The Sixers came back in the next cat of coppola films, bringing the socre to 15-21 (rats). We scored 7 out of 10 on the rock guitarist cat. The last category brought us to victory with baseball teams.  The 2nd game began with us getting 6 out of 10 with things of a fire department.  The Sixers came back strong in the next cat of kinds of bugs with equal points. We did the equal point split again with "pro" words, bringing the score to 15-19. The Rats pulled out 8 out of 10 on shows with numbers cat. The last category couldn't be better for this slobbering rat...one of my favs, the old reliable Irish Cities cat, which gave us the final win!  It was a pleasure playing the Sixers, as it has been a pleasure
playing every team this season.  Personal note:  notice the scores?  There's those numbers of winning perfection once again...33!

(commentary)  The Pack went up against a determined Rat team who was playing for first place. they jumped out to a big lead(19-7) on the strength of their knowledge of musical groups with numbers and Ev's knowledge of her second job...being a power ranger. We jumped back ino the game because of our MVP Spike's knowledge of Francis Ford Coppola movies , which was a double point round cutting their lead to 21-15. But the Rats slobbered all over the last 2 cats and won the first game 33-22.      The second game was nip and tuck with the rats holding a 19-15 lead until tv shows with numbers came up and they got 8 of 10 answers to put the game away. Congrats rats!!! Good effort Pack

Well, the last game of the season has come and gone!  Not sure what we're gonna do with all this time off!  I will probably be playing Finders! LOL

This was a regular Saturday morning game with a stacked Rockpile and a couple pairs of LOLers.  Dagny was trying to protect her bagel from being stolen, half the people in the room used the champ rounds as a chance to run load up on coffee, and the rest of us were just trying not to spill OJ, syrup and french toast crumbs on our keyboards!

Game One was the Rockers all the way.  LOLers took a 2-1 lead on the mysterious Saltwater Aquarium cat, but the Rockers' caffeine kicked in on writing utensils (8-5 Rocks) and 60's-70's shows, and they nearly swept it to go up 20-7.  Dagny scored four points on Golf terms  unfortunately she got booted so they didn't count!  But either way, the Rockers had it sealed away and finished off with Mountain Ranges 31-10, quite naturally!

The second game, it seemed the Rocks' caffeine was wearing off and the LOLers' sugar rush was kicking in!  Between Italian Operas and French Painters, we were able to take a 7-3 lead.  We split 90's cartoons with the Rockers, leaving 2 for Nobody, and continued to hold them at 12-9 on Casino games.  We split again on Dinosaurs, 16-13 LOLers still ahead, but they cut our lead to one point with "meter" words, 19-18.  Our chances of winning game two were drastically "thinner" after the Rockers tommyknocked us out on Stephen King to take the lead of 25-21.  Endangered animals was the final cat of the season, in which karenlucy was able to nab two, but the Rockers slammed a five pointer and went home with game two as well.

It's been a terrific season!  Congratulations to the Rockers, the Rats, the Raiders and Fourplay!  Good luck to all in the playoffs.
