| 1 | (teams) raiders vs rockers (Game1) rockers 32-18 (Game2) raiders 33-23 (Game3) raiders 37-14 (MVP) seagirl (roll_call) koziman, nanci, murf, rick, seagirl, tbearj, teddybear, pooh-bear, jloughman, lilyro, judyindisguise, schmook (commentary) what a game tonight versus the mighty rock team. raiders seem to have the attendance thing straightened and it paid off tonight. game 1 was a typical rocker game as they came out and hammered us. rockers jumped out 6-3 on people you tip, increased it to 11-6 on fast food chains. the whoopin continued on koolaid flavors, donald sutherland movies, vampires and mel gibson movies as the rocks coasted to an easy 32-18 victory. The raiders got motivated and opened game 2 up with an 8-1 lead on cars named after animals. we increased our lead to 14-5 on an equality round of radio formats. rocks came back on literary detectives to cut our lead to 18-11. rocks closed the gap even more on the skiing cat to cut it to 22-17 raiders. i missed the next cat for this report but it was 28-20 raiders. i was prayin for no double point round and the botman delivered as we ended game 2 33-23 on famous cartoon characters. we were smokin by this time and started game 3 ! out very hot on a double point round of operas taking a 14-2 lead. we increased it to 21-4 on things associated with the old west. we ended the game and the match on easter things and a double point beatles album cat to win the game 37-14. i am so proud of this team after the recent slump we went through, to beat a great team like the rockers. | 7 | (teams) LOLers vs. Rats (Game1) Rats 34-12 (Game2) Rats 32-9 (Game3) none (MVP) all the LOLers who made it (roll_call) Musicluvr, flamepillar, SapphirEM, lightdancer, Emma (commentary) --- I guess fourth place was not as big of a deal to some as I thought, since we only had five show up for the Rats game. Most of the categories were generally good ones that we know, but the Rats more than doubled us in population so they were picking them up left and right, starting with a 7-2 lead on San Francisco. Madonna songs was next, one of the few cats that I could get 10 answers on (though I still haven't accomplished that yet) we split that cat 5 each, but the Rats knew their McDonalds items and had 7 answers to go. Hey, if they have McDonalds in Japan then they probably have at least one somewhere in the sewers right? Well anyway, after Bike Parts and Stadiums, they won the game 34-12. The second game was four rounds and we were outta there. We were doing okay with the first two cats, one of which was Infectuous Diseases. Don't recall the other, but we were only behind 7-11. Until the Rats swept Seinfeld to go up 20-7, and won the game on a Double Point Gymnastics round, 32-9. Congratulations to the Rats!!!
