This was the most exciting game I have played in a long time. The Rockers had a perfect atttendance for tonights early game. The first game started out the Funeral Cat and the Rats took and early lead. They held it through the baby food category until the Rockers took the lead with the Soup category. Rats came back and tied the score at 22 with the Australian cities category. The Rats started partying and took the "Things at a Birthday" party category for 8 points and won the first game 30-24. Down but not out the Rockers took a small lead (5-4) after the phobia category. We held the lead through, "Breakfast foods, Christian Slater, Baby Things and BLues Artists". The "Sainted" Rats took the lead on the Roman saints category 28-27. Thank Goodness for "Donald Sutherland", The Rockers came back and won the 2nd game, 32-31. One game apiece, first place standing in the balance, We squared off again. One of the mysterious unnamed categories (this time salt water aquarium) showed up and the Rockers got off to an early lead , 6-2. I actually have no idea what the next category was (by this time my handwriting is unreadable) but the Rockers extended their to 13-5. The next category was Power Rangers and the Rockers opened the gap even bigger, 19-9. We split the next round, each team taking 5 points, the score 24-14. "Phone Contacts" saw the Rockers increase the lead to 29-18. "Elements in the Atmosphere" took the Rocks to a 35-22 win. Our honorable mention tonight goes to Rockhead and Cam who did a great job!!! GO ROCK MEN What a great game we had tonight. If every game was intense as this, I dont think I could live through many. Congratulations to the Rats on a great game and a great season. The fact we won one game is amazing given the 15 rocks against the 11 rats, and I'm a proud, proud rat to have been a part of the fact we went three games...the time is coming to clean house because as the rockers prove, attendance wins games and losing (frankly) sucketh. ev- |

This was the game of the week for us and we WON it! Now only one game behind the Raiders in 4th, we seek to divide and conquer. The Raiders are a great team and didn't make it easy for us. They started with an 8-4 lead, but the Soup must have been too hot, cuz we narrowed their lead to one point (10-11). We went neck and neck through the Maryland cat, Brady Bunch, and Traffic & Road signs to bring it to 27-23, LOLers ahead, and while the Raiders eagled us out on the Golf Terms cat, the lead was too much and we squeaked by to win 30-28! The second game was a regular nail biting, tearjerking, chain smoking, tooth grinding, foot curling, guitar slamming, earthquaking, head banging, arms flailing, fists flying, glass shattering kind of match when both teams started out scoring five on things at a Cookout. Raiders SpaceNeedled us on Seattle to take the lead 11-8, but we managed to grab them by the tanktops and pull ourselves to one point behind at 14-15 on Int'l Holidays. Both teams scored evenly on Flowers to make it 19-20, but we knew our Country Singers and "Amazed" the room when we retook control of the lead 25-23. Around the world we went with Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. The landing area was clear and we sailed away with the 30-27 lead. Good job Raiders y'all played a tough game! And that's exactly what we did. We started off with Blockbuster Movies which turned out to be a Blockbuster Scoring Cat for us! With Hoov scoring 4 of our 6 points that round, and the Sixers scoring none, we were off to a good start. Next up was 20th Century Painters which allowed us to score 4 more while the Sixers scored 2. Baby Shower Gifts put us way ahead 15 - 4. Bot decided to give us a Double Point Cat next with Currencies and we increased our lead to 21 - 6. Two colored flags was next followed by Former Wrestling Champs. Libra scored 4 points with her knowledge of the cat and the Wonders took the game with a final score of 35 - 9. The Sixers played a little harder and scored a little more in game two. It started off close after Catholic Positions and a score of 4 - 3 with the WOnders up by 1. Cheyenne's love of Doris Day movies scored her 5 points and increased our lead to 10 - 5. Bon Jovi Songs was next and with a 9 point lead over the Sixers we never looked back. JFGordon liked the Bon Jovi Cat so much she kept playing that cat for the next two rounds!! Go JF!! The real next cats were Famous Jacksons and Computers. Although we didn't score in the computers cat we still held a 10 point lead. The final cat COuntries that end in A gave us our victory tonight 30 - 14. Good Game SixPack!!!
