(commentary) The raiders were beyond over-due for a win tonight.
With great attendance we were not going to be denied tonight.
The first game saw the packers jump out to an early 7-2 lead on ice cream
flavors. They maintained that lead at 12-7 on spiderman characters.
We cut it to 14-13 on muppets and took a 20-15 lead on burt reynolds
movies. We took the first game after american authors and
poets cats and sports without balls to win 32-23.
The raiders jumped out to 12-2 lead on a double point
ancient greek cat. The teams split on the female comic book
characters to make it 17-6 raiders. Most people misread the
the north american s cities as only 3 answers were scored making it 19-7.
We ended it on homers illiad and bonanza things to win 34-16.
A special wtg to our newest teammate poohbear. We look foward
to another game of packs vs pecks against the sixpackers next season.

Another exciting game tonight
with the LOL's. The first game was lag filled
& it didn't look good for FOURplay as we lost it 33-20. We came
back big
time with jean brands & sharks to win game 2 33-14. Game 3 Boxx
surprized us
with her knowledge of army bases & we finished it off with wrestlers,
which I
have to thank my friend Libra for getting me addicted to.
Present: AJ, Chas, Cub, Fita, Foxey, Kelly, Scend, Syz, Boxx & Vi

LOLers hit a big roadblock on their way to capture 4th place tonight.
We almost had it, but alas we lost our momentum!
The first game was a quick five rounder in which we opened with a 6-4 lead
on Geometric Shapes, and increased the lead to 10-6 on the Gone With The
Wind cat. LOLers declared a long time ago that "we would never
go hungry again". A double pointer came to our aid and we
jumped on it, going up 22-12 on American Colleges. Four scored well
on Hopkins movies, but REV words was all ours and we won the first game
33-20.
The second game was doin' just fine at 5-5 after Madonna songs, until Four
made a monster sweep on the Sharks cat and went up 15-5. Then
another near sweep for them left us dangling in a 6-24 deficit. We
did well on Winter Olympic events, but the game ended there at 33-14.
So into game three we went! Fourplay took a 3-2 lead on Los Angeles,
and went up 9-5 on British Universities. We were able to tie it at
15 all with Bee Grant songs and Cary Gee films...or was that the other way
around? Well, Four took the lead again on Forts 20-18 and then
another monster sweep on Wrestlers pretty much left us with no hope as the
score was now 19-29. Whatever the last cat was, they won it 35-23.
Awesome game 4444..good luck in the playoffs!!!

Well, it may have taken us three games but it was worth it. We
finally beat the Rockers!!!
Game One looked good for us from the start when we took a 2 point lead of
6 - 4 in Box Office Blockbusters. We remained ahead 11 -9 with
Infectious Diseases. The rocks showed us they are trekkies by
sweeping the Star Trek cat and taking over the lead and putting themselves
ahead by 10 pts. We narrowed the score to 23 - 18 with Orchestra
Composers. Although we typed our fingers to the bones in the
Birthday Party cat, the Rocks stayed ahead 28 - 23. We only managed
to score 1 point in what would be our final cat of game one, Summer
Olympic Sites. Final Score 37- 24.
Game Two started off with signs of the Zodiac and a tied score 5 - 5.
We played the next two cats - Animal Songs and Morning Things with the
Wonders ahead by 1. The Rocks took the lead 21 - 18 with types of
crosses. The Wonders took the lead and the game with Richard Pryor
movies,a double point cat, and a score of 30 - 23.
Game Three looked like a sure win for the Rocks who took the lead in the
first cat Steve Martin Movies 6 - 4. They increased their lead to 13 -7
with Harold Robbins Books and 18 - 10 with Things on Wheels. We
rallied for a comeback with Actors who have directed and narrowed the
Rockers lead from 8 points to 4 points. We tied it up with Jodi
Foster movies 22 - 22. We were on a roll and we kept on going
stealing the lead 29 - 24 with Colorful Song Titles, and winning the game
34 - 29 with Things found at a construction site.
Great Game Rocks, it's always fun to play you guys!!! Next year we
hope to play you in the FINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
