(commentary)  The raiders faced a tough loler team tonight. we jumped out to an early lead in the first games going up 16-12 on rodent, clothing brands and vc andrews novels.   The lolers came back to even it up 22-22 on irish towns. The game was knoted at 26 all after nore mythology.   The lolers took the game taking 6 answers to our 3 on types of boats/ships.   The lolers had a solid 15-9 lead in game 2 after words that go with 3, flowers and marsupials.   We needed a double point round and bot obliged.     We took 7 answers to their 2 to take a 23-19 lead.   We hung on after thngs in a trunk and winter olympic events to take game 2 34-28.    The Raiders wasted no time in game 3 taking 8 answers in the red things cat.   The lolers made a brief comeback closing the gap to 11-8 in things associated with seattle.   We took 9 answers on the lizard cat to take a commanding 20-9 lead and finished the game on abba and types of clubs to win 31-16.

A great win for the Liz^ards, after a long, dry spell.  The first game began with a tie at 4-4, and the Wonders took the lead and held it for the entire game...until that final cat.  The last round "Bands of One Syllable" was a double pointer and our Sibil came up with the right answers to give us the win at 30-29.  The second game we took the lead right away and never looked back.
GOOOOOO LIZ^ARDS!!!!!!!!!!

Ten little Rockers standing in a row...Gonna play the Rats.. Gonna give it a go.

Competition was tough in the game room this evening. The game started out 5-5 after the first round of Phrases to close a letter. The Rats took the lead at 12-8 after the second. Bot threw out some "Cheese" but the Rockers tied it up at 13. The game was close the rest of the way with the score being 28-29 Rats in the lead. Bird groups flew out and the Rockers took the lead and win 35-32.

The second game with the Rocks on a roll. A 6 -3 lead after the first round went on to a 32-16 final score with the Rocks leading all the way.

Congrats to all for a GREAT game. The Rats are great competitors and a great team to play. We look forward to meeting them again.

Go Team Rocker!!!

Well our 14 game winning streak was broken today, but to a great team!  The first game the Rats were behind most of the game, but we were able to catch up and take a 29-28 lead with the categories Record Companies & Fast Food Chains.  (Rats must listen to music while fine dining at their favorite Fast Food establishments!!)  But the Rocks squeeked by to a 35-32 win!!

The Rocks took the lead and held it the whole way in game 2.  They rocked the Rats  into the Sewer with a 32-16 win.

The Rats will be looking forward to our next game with the Rocks!!

(commentary)  If you have a weak stomach, I hope you were not watching this match because it got ugly really fast. Fourplay came out and spanked us good! In the first game we held our own until the popular(at least to fourplay) languages no longer spoken cat came up. They outscored us 7-1 and won going away 31-16. The second game we spotted Fourplay a 19-3 lead.....just kidding, and made a mini run at them with school shows, and laurel and hardy movies. I still don't know how I forgot Stan helps Ollie. That was our brght spot as Fourplay coasted to an easy win. Good game Fourplay!!!!!

Oh MAN!!!  I really thought we had this one!!!  But just as with the Wonders tonight, all it took was one Double Point round to mess it all up.

It started off beautiful, with the LOLers taking a 6-4 lead on Rodents (yep, we're looking to give the Ratties a nice sloppy LOSING STREAK! hehe).  The Raiders took a lead on Clothing Brands, 7-11.  After a champ round, both teams scored 5 on VC Andrews.  The LOLers really pulled through on Irish Cities, though, tying it at 22-22!  The tie continued to 26-26 and eventually we won 32-29.  So far so good right?

Well, in the second game after the Raiders took a 5-3 lead on us, we came back quickly with Florist Flowers to make it 8-6 and then took 7 Marsupials to make the score 15-9.  It was looking wonderful!  Just then, however, we had a Double Point Round cat, things in a Birdcage.  Well, being that "poop" is always the first answer to come to mind, and also seeing that you type this word with your third and pinky finger, it's just all around a hard cat to get going on, for me anyway.  Besides, if you picture a birdcage in your head and you see anything else besides a bird, bird seed, newspaper, poop, water dish/bottle, a mirror, a swing and maybe a ladder you're crazy. LOL well here's the evidence.  Raiders whooped up on us and took the lead 19-23.  Things in a car trunk was next and again, if you see anything in your mind besides a spare tire, blankets, a crowbar, a jack, oil or antifreeze OKAY so anyway both teams took 5 to make it 28-24 Raiders  and Winter Olympic sports gave th!
em the win 34-28!

Whew!  So the third game, aww man it was pathetic.  Things that are Red was our first cat and they jumped ahead 8-2.  Sheer luck if ya ask me.  LOL well things associated with Seattle (gotta love Seattle  no sunshine woohooo!) was about the best chance we had  we closed in at 8-11, but the Raiders swept the next cat which I obviously must've been too perturbed to write what the cat was, all I got is that they went up 20-9.  Abba songs was next and we had a pretty good round there (it would have been better if even five of the GREATEST HITS had been there and one of the ten ppl who put "that's me" had gotten credit for it LOL) but they were obviously anxious to finish it up cuz they played like they were really desperate or something and killed us 31-16 on types of clubs (several ppl put "men's"..Nobody gets the credit LOL)

Congratulations Paulie and the Raiders..you sure pulled your stuff together.  Great game!

Oh boy.  We lost again.  This loss was a tragedy!  We started the game with Frequest Phone Contacts, it took everyone a minute to figure out what this was and then the answers were flying.  When the time was up the score was tied 4 - 4.  We took the lead, and kept it through the next 5 cats showing that the Wonders know their Dolls, Insects, Breads, Canadian Islands and Animals Found on a Farm.  At one point we were even ahead by 10 points!!  The Lizzards slithered there way to 3 points behind us and stole the game with Bands with 1 Syllable Names - A double point cat.  We lost by 1 point with the a final score of 30-29.  So close and yet so far!

The Lizzards kept the winning momentum going in game two and started out with a one point lead in the 1st cat, Things associated with Mayland.  They increased their lead to 3 points with things on a Tax Return. (Who'da thought Lizzards would file tax returns anyway??)  They almost swept us in the US States Cat and increased there lead to 17 -8. At that point I was booted from the game and by the time I returned the game was over adn the Wonders had lost.  The Final Score was 30something to 16(?).

We were closer to winning in game one than we have been in a long time.  We have the potential....now let's make our dream a reality!!!!   GOOOO WONDERS!!!!!!

Thanks for a fun game Lizzards!!
