The raiders to an early 10-8 lead on double point things in a wallet. We increased the lead 26-20 after north american rivers, old testamant and outdoor sports cats went by. Just when we thought we almost had it wrapped up, fourplay woke up and took 7 answers in the Harrison Ford movie cat making it 29-27 raiders. Then we got martial arts disciplines and they took 5 answers to our 1 and won 32-30. The second game began like the first with the raiders going up 12-7 after tommy lee jones movies and famous figure skaters cats came up. they came back strong on oscar winning directors. With cats like Frankenstein, Tarot, Army bases, Mountains, Roller Coasters, Windows, and Australian musicians, The rockers lead the entire game and won 31-11. Game two started out with the Rockers really belted out the Elvis tunes and got an early 7-1 lead. Rocks eat a lot of soup and took a 13-5 lead. Bot next beamed down a Star Trek cat and the Packers had a great round and cut our lead to 17-11. Bot quizzed us on presidents first names and we split the round 5 points each. Bot wanted to see which team could line dance the best and made it a double pointer to be interesting. Well Six showed us she knows the dance and lead us to a 34-18 win. They beat us to a bloody pulp. The closest we ever got was 6 points behind them. WoW. Bot started out being a Halloweenie by giving us the Frankenstein cat. (4-2rocks)..Then he issued us cat about the Tarot(11-3rocks)..The Rockers proved militant as ever with the US Army posts cat. They reached for the stars with the Mountain ranges cat(21-6). The rollercosters cat came up and I was excited..being from So Cal and all hehe..(22-9) Then the terms assoc. with window dressings was next and finally Australian Music Artists..go craigo..our Aussie teamie! But we lost 31-11 The Second game started out with an Elvis Hits cat..Nite Rocker WoWed us again!! (7-1) Then the Campbell's soup flavors cat came up..mmm mmm good...mmm..mmm good.(for the rockers! 13-5!!) What a truly fascinating turn of the tables! What happened to the Lizards tonight? Are they still trying to get the rest of that Slobber off? LOL The first game started off really close, with the LOLers taking an early lead of 5-4 on an Equality round of 7-letter Women's names. The Lizards really kneaded some dough and they earned their keep on the Bread Products cat, 11-10! But the force was with us when we hopped to a high ledge on Alec Guiness, making it 19-16. The Lizards were nibbling on some carryout Chinese food, and the spirit of Ho Chi Minh was with them on Chinese Provinces they took the lead 20-23!!! I thought for sure this was the last we would see of our lead, but we knew our meters and closed in at 25-27. Agatha Christie was the next cat and this to me was the miracle. We tied it 29-29 and I honestly don't know how that happened, cuz the Lizards were popping out answers left and right! The next cat, a ***DOUBLE POINT*** Ancient Warriors, was a lucky break for me, since I had just seen the cat in Ridic2 not too long beforehand. I was able to grab 3 and MillerLite got 1..and we won it 37-31! In the second game, Sapph, Music and I were feeling a little Antzy, as we had a Powerhouse game going on at the same time in Tourney5 that we had to be at, and Sapph, bless her little heart, was struggling to play both games at once! The LOLers picked up 5 on Christmas decorations..and increased our lead to 11-6 on Bosses! Things associated with Denver brought us almost to the halfway mark at 14-7. Another Double Pointer, Stephen King, found us REALLY um, shall I say, Shining? We took a monstrous lead of 20-9. Thanks to Nedi for raising her son to know the works of this man! (LOVE YOU **smoochies**) Well, Donald Sutherland came and went, with each team scoring one point. Spiderman characters was another sweep for us that the Lizards did NOT need in their state. We went up 27-12 and sat through a Champ Round before we finally got to scale 'em on Advertising Mascots, 35-13!!! I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. I'm just totally amazed! Thanks to all my teamies for the MVP vote yet AGAIN!!! But MilleniumLOL still gets my vote at least deserves an honorable mention. Good job team! (Honorable mention to all the teamies present) (roll_call) Athena, Angel_Wolf, Cheyenne, Hoov, Libra, & Sadie (commentary) --------------- What a game for the Wonders. We played like we haven't in a long time!! And we actually made the Rats work hard in game one today!! We played aggressively and took the lead in the 1st cat - double point - Things Assoc. w/ Live Theater. We showed we know our knowledge of supermarket aisles, boats & ships, & things found in a laundromat. Yes, we know about more than our washers!! The Rats made a surprising come from behind pull and stole the lead and the game with Horse Breeds. (Figures, they would know about horses, don't rats live in barns anyway??) Although the Rats took the lead and never let it go in the second game, we fought them all the way. They scored 6 points in the Neil Diamond Albums cat and when I asked them if they were showing their age, or their taste in music, they had no comment, so you be the judge! Bot came up with Bon Jovi songs next and although we now scored 6 points, we were still trailing behind in the slobber. After struggling to get points with Baseball teams that have moved or changed names and vampire movies, bot finished us off with Irish towns and Cities and Polish Cities. I think this is the best game our team has played in a long time. Now if only we could do this well when it isn't the middle of the night!
