The second game started off with a ban on things you get in the mail, and again the raiders never looked back, finishing finally with coastal states. Rockers took off to a 3-7 lead...in the 3rd round bot dropped Knights of the Round Table on us and whoo wee Rockers sweeped that cat with all 10!!!...then in the last round bot made a boo boo and dropped the same cat again...Knights of the Round Table...don't know who paid bot....but whoever is watching over us up there....keep up the good work!! Rockers took it on home for a 11-31 win!! Rockers attendance is very high now and morale is wonderful!!...WTG ROCKERS!! We're ROCKIN our way to the TOP!! MMMMM we got a taste for some RATS!!! The Rats were merciless tonight in their speed and determination. We came out of the gate in the first category with a sweep in Moody Blues songs, dominated the cats in between, and ended the game with the last category of Australian cities with 9 out of 10 answers. No Slackers were we in the second game (slobberers yes!, slackers no!), as we proceeded with our winning ways by getting 8 and 9 out of 10 answers in such cats as Star Trek Characters, names of race horses, and names with the initials MM. We wrapped up game 2 with a great turn out of names of baseball teams. This is even better than the real thing! In game one, the Wonders took an 8-6 lead on a double point Desert round, during which some players made the ever-popular mistake of putting answers such as "dump cake". They held on to this lead for a while, but soon enough we were ahead 23-21 and shot to the brink on Famous Bridges, 29-25. Things associated with Golf gave us the 34-30 victory! Game two was more of a classic LOL Friday massacre, as we took the lead 14-4 on things in a Baby Nursery and never looked back. The Wonders managed to tip us a bit on Apples, getting 4 against our 3, but this brought us past the halfway mark at 17-8. Songs with Mister or Mr. brought us ever closer at 23-11, and we pretty much decided to blow the pot, sweeping things at a Gas Station to win the second game 32-11. It was a quick 27 minute match with all the intensity of a Rock vs Rat game! Very few answers were left behind for the infamous "found by Nobody" fund. You were awesome, Wonders! Don't feel bad. We just can't catch a break! Maybe we will win the honor of being the team to lose the most games in a season! I for one, hope we turn this around, and soon. Anyhooo... At least we ALMOST one the first game! We took the lead in the 1st cat, maybe because the LOLs mistook Deserts for Desserts, (maybe they were hungry?)and we kept the lead with Australian Slang. The LOLS made a comeback and stole the lead with a double point cat - Things people collect. They remained in the lead for the rest of the game and although we kept it close we lost in the end. :( Final Score: 34-20. The second game was a quick and easy kill,umm, win for the LOLS. They took a huge lead with Baby Things, the 1st cat - a double point cat. We were only able to score a total of 7 points through the next 3 cats. Bot must think it's an Answer a day keeps the dr. away, cause he ate answer #9 in the apples cat. Final Score: 33-11 We need a rally and a huge comeback to not finish this season in last place!!!
