pre-game chatter included much talk about the yankees/redsox mets/braves games (GO METS).  The Raiders were behind in team 1 at the beginning until "Donald Sutherland movies", and pulled away on double point "army terms".  In the second game, it was close for the first round with salad dressings, ending 5-5,  but the raiders pulled away with "rodents", and never looked back, putting the six pack away with "love" shows.

Okay, so I had to wake up to play...and it wasn't until the end of the first game that I realized that it was still Monday, which meant it was my day to do the report!  The only thing I can tell you about the first game is that our beloved raccoon Rocky came in to wish us luck and that the ROCKERS won 30-15 (coincidentally on the Beatles Songs cat...in which SIX amazed herself by getting two!~)

The second game (when I actually took notes) was ROCK-dominated from the beginning (a 7-3 "Heavy Metal" round...)  We hung on through Dashboard Things, Breakfast Foods, Gwynneth Paltrow Movies (a sweep for Y!!) and our favorite cat by a dead person, Book of Mormons.  The final round was Celine Dion  I was booted but the Rock did go on...and won 33-17.

Good game wonders....okay, I'm heading back to bed.

This win for the Rats was just to confirm that when there are enough of us united together, we are literally unbeatable!  I myself had incredible difficulty during this game, with my keyboard disconnecting and my puter freezing (did someone put the horns on me?), but I managed to hang in there for the second game and earned the sympathy vote for mvp from my wonderful ratmates!  LOL. The first game had both teams pretty close in scores until the Richard Pryor movie cat came up and the humor-loving Rats dominated that completely.  The Rats bagged the first game on the last category of names of Doctor's. Game 2 moved along rather fast with the Rats staying ahead from almost the beginning.  We dug our claws right in and swept the "child stars" category.  We pulled 8 out of 10 answers on the following category of kinds of breads (still wondering why moldy bread did not come up?).  We wrapped up the game with a double pointer of elements in the atmosphere.  The Lizards are still a f!
orce to be reakoned with, and I feel
to be a part of the team that fought their way up to their status...and even felt the need to surpass it.

The Raiders pillaged and plundered yet again!  The first game started out with the 6-pack in the lead 5-3 in the "places with colors in their names" cat.  The second round was a champ round break and my husband decided it would be the best time to distract me by dancing around the living room half-naked[ACK!]!  The next round was Elvis movies uhh huh..with the six-pack keeping the lead 11-6.  The following round was Donald [who?] Sutherland movies and the Raiders caught and passed us 13-14! Common food and environmental [achooo!] allergies was next ..with the Raiders keeping their lead 21-16.  Words that begin with "the" was the next cat..and the last cat was US military terms and the Raiders won 30-25.
The second game started out much like the first one with ^6 taking a small lead of 5-3 with the salad dressing cat[ Go dshoppy and csq! ]  The Raiders know their rodents...passing us up 13-6.  Sports without balls was next with the Raiders stomping us again 11-18.  A few more rounds the same abuse and in heend the Raiders won 24-33.  Congrats Raiders...You guys are tough argh.

Ouch!!!  I thought we had this one...but we got jinxed I guess!  In the first game, we sped off to a 18-12 lead with cats including Tom Cruise films and stuff in the Alien Movies.  Fourplay made a great comeback on foods with nuts, 21-19 and went on to tie it on Star Wars Villains at 26-26.  We managed to take the first game though, on The Big Valley cat.

Second game, Fourplay used the beginning Double Point Round and the following round of Buttered Foods to butter Bot into handing them 19 points as opposed to our 4.  As hard as we tried we could not catch them with baby supplies (isn't there like 3 versions of that cat?), trees and Ontario cities  Fourplay took that game 32-16.

In the third game, we were back in business, taking a 7-3 lead on the Canadian Provinces.  Fourplay lessened that gap quick enough with Michaelangelo's works, and went on to take their own lead of 15-10 on Black Entertainers.  It only got worse when the Friends cat came up and they increased their lead to 22-13.  We had them running on Anthony Hopkins, closing in slowly at 24-17, but they took advantage of their lead and pushed us closer to the end of the game on movies with Sequels, 27-20.  On the final cat, a double pointer, we were cursed with the inventors cat and lost it 35-28.

Well done Fourplay  it was a true blue double header for you!
