Fourplay put up a great fight.  The first game was close, but the Raiders pulled ahead on the theatre category, and pulled away on the double point Caryle Spencer novels (WHO?).  The Raiders were ahead from the start in the second game, and never looked back.

The LOLers were the most fun team we've played.  What a great way to spend a Saturday morning tourney game...with lots of fun and laughter!  The first game we Liz^ards took the lead, but the LOlers came back quickly the next round.  During the 6th round of the game, Bot decided to boot almost everyone in the room.  It was a mass exodus, and a mass re-entry.  The LOLers  held the lead for the rest of the game and won on "BeeGees Songs", 33-28.

The second game, we took a commanding lead, 7-1, with Asian countries, and held on to win 30-21.  The 3rd and final game, we also took the lead right away, and never looked back.  The entire team scored great and won the honor of MVP!!!

A turnabout of sorts this morning, as a whole bunch of Packers showed to play this morning. The Packers smoked the first the first game which I am sorry to say I helped a bit. It seems bot doesn't like it when you use all caps to change teams. The Packers took the first game quite easily with a score of 34-13.

Game two started out much the same as the Pack was hot. The Underdog Rockers werent about to give up and tied the score three times in the 2nd game and came back for the win, 35-32.

Pumped up from the game two win, Team Rocker got hot and started  rocking all over the place. We took the lead in the second round and held it to the finish with a score of 33-26.

The Six Pack played one great game and we were lucky to come out on top. Hats off to the new and improved Six Pack.

GO TEAM ROCKER!!!!!! AAWWHHOOOOOOOOO

First of all, the Rats were short 3 people in comparison to the Wonders attendance.  But...it mattered not!  The Rat Pack came out slobbering at the start of the first game, kicking up the sewer sludge with Cats such as Beatle songs and 3 letter "c" words (which we swept).  The Wonders did manage to catch up somewhat with their never-ending answers to the "Mary's" category. We did eventually slide into the winning position though.  The 2nd game was filled with an unusually numerous amount of games that the Rats swept!  We almost swept the anniversary gift cat...we did sweep the African capitals cat...
and Debby decided to sweep the things from absolutely fabulous cat all by herself!  The Rats wound up the 2nd game with a big socore of things of Halloween, which is ironically the same category we won with in our last game.  Told ya this Halloween page is working wonders Ev!

Impressive turnout by both teams, considering it was a Saturday AM'er.  The Liz^ards have really got their skin together this season.  Who would have thought the winter season would be dominated by a team that was Nekkid?  Well, they must be cold-blooded.  Hehehe...

They played a great game against us, but we sure didn't make it easy for them!  Even though we were a few players shorter than they were, we pulled together after they led 3-1 on the popular TV Westerns cat and eventually tied it back at 19-19.  Some boot on a giant pendulum came swinging straight through the Tourney room, causing a lot of people to disappear suddenly.  Bot just carried on with the Vampires cat like nothing was going on..and we LOLers tried to take advantage of the mayhem and punch in as many as we could.  We took the lead 23-22 and went on to "stay alive" in the first game on Bee Gees songs, winning the game 33-28.

The second game was when the Liz^ards began to get really slithery, popping out of our hands like a wet bar of soap everytime we thought we had them!  Boy scout names, conductors and ID cards brought them to a 16-26 lead, and they rocked our world on the Hard Rock Cafe locations, winning game two 30-21.

Game three was the Liz^ards all the way.  They took a 5-3 lead on the Sarah McLachlan category and increased it to 12-6 on fast food, 15-7 on types of cakes, and 21-10 on "words that precede BOARD".  The Liz^ards are definitely on an independence run, as they nearly swept the July 4th cat to make it 27-11.  Men's names that start with M was a closet of brooms waiting for the Lizards to clean up the mess..and boy did they ever! Final score was 35-12.

Thanks for a terrific morning Liz^ards!
Always a pleasure...
