(Commentary) The Raiders played two good games tonight,
retaining their spot in first place. The Six Packs kept the scores
fairly close right from the beginning, but the Raiders came through with
the victory, 33 - 23. In the second game the Six Pack held the lead by a
couple of points until the next to the last round when the Raiders'
knowledge of Demi Moore movies put them in the lead. Raiders took this
game 34 - 25, for the win. Nice playing, team!

WHOOO HOOOOO, LIZ^ARDS!!!!!! Once again, we came out nekkid
and slithering!!! We took the lead 5-0 in the first round of the
first game, and held the lead til the end to win 34-15.
The second game was a great display of competition and nail-biting fury.
There were 3 ties during the game, 12-12, 16-16, and 27-27. The
final cat, "Skiing things" we scored 6 points to the Rats 2, to
take the win, 33-29. Great job, Liz^ards!!

Two good games tonight between the ROCK and the Wonders. We lead
from the very beginning the first game, with an outstanding performance
from Nite on the Iliad (scoring 5 of our 7 points!) The second game
was closer the first two rounds were ties (letter endings and a
double point Bowie cat) we pulled ahead in the Best Picture cat,
then increased it with our knowledge of Deadhead songs (so I scored on the
Dead and Bowie you all know I'm really devoted to Bruce, right?) The
Wonders closed the gap to 28-24 with 4 letter girls names, but we squeezed
through 32-30 in composers starting with B (and Bruce wasn't there!)
Good game Wonders....thanks for MVR, teamies!

Confusing the game rooms, I came in a few minutes late to see the Lizards
pummeling the rats in the first few rounds of the 1st game. We
fought hard, but the Lizards wrapped this game up with a good turnout on
cities that start with "s"(slithering snakes that they are!)
The Rats came out slobbering in game 2, eager to make a comeback. We
held the lead throughout most of the second game, pulling out in front
with irish cities (love those old cats!). It looked as though we
might PULL it off until the very last category when the Lizards showed us
their expertise in things having to do with skiing. Now tell
me..what does a slimey sewer dweller know of such pure things like snow
and skiing? Thanks for a good game Lizards.

What a Game!! Although we Six-Packers had our strong moments, the
Raiders proved to be a strong and fine-tuned team. The first game
started out with a tied round (5-5) with the NewZealand cities
category...in the next round the Raiders took the lead with Danny Devito
movies...the Raiders continued their assault and totally swept the
European Club Soccer category...my shins are still bruised from that
PegLeg!! We tried to catch them with the common insects category..but it
was too late, the Raiders won 33-23. Game 2 was a game of "tit
for tat" until the Demi Moore movie category came up and we did not
score ONE point!! We tried to come back in the Women's magazines
category..but again it was too late..The Raiders and their pesky parrot
won 34-25.
We had a great turn-out again team! Woohooooo! ^6!!!

By the time we got through with this three game match, it was already
Tuesday morning on the East Coast! Fourplay came out strong and took
us down...but I'm still wondering if I didn't fall asleep and dream this
whole thing. (I might even be typing this in my sleep.)
Anyway, the first two games were very close actually. Fourplay took
a 7-3 lead to start and we managed to narrow it down somewhat. But
they came through on the homestretch with 3-letter palindromes to win
33-28.
The second game, Fourplay took another 7-3 lead.. and the next several
rounds went about the same way, with us trying to regain the lead.
We weren't going to let the fact that the last cat was another palindrome
(ABBA) make a similar fate for us as the first game we nearly swept
it to tie the game 30-30! Then we did it again on Books of the Old
Testament and won 38-32.
By the third game, vrooomblonde had joined us, Sapph's parents were about
to run her off to bed, and the whole room was half asleep. Fourplay
took a 5-4 lead anyway and held it through things on a plane, female
authors, standup comedians and things on a tax form to bring it to 26-15.
Don't ride famous rollercoasters when you're sleepy or you may lose your
real life "LOL" AND "4play" abilities..hehe!
Fourplay finished it off 31-16.
And so we are four games into a season with no wins yet. Why are we
laughing, you ask? Cuz we're the LOLers of course! Besides,
since the Wonders lost to the Rocks it looks like we're still not alone
:-) Good night!!!

It was an exciting tournament game against the Rockers. The Wonder's
had a nice turnout. It was great to see Cheyenne back and the
Wonder's Team welcomed her with open arms this evening. The Rockers
took and early lead with television brands and never lost the lead.
The Wonder's didn't quit and came close a few times with the Alice in
Wonderland cat and Indangered Animals cat. The Rockers pulled a
29-24 lead with brands of jeans and held on at the end with that
dredded Milano movies cat to take a 33-29 victory over the Wonders.
The Second game the Wonders came out strong on the first two cats, Letter
endings and David Bowie Albums and the game was tied 13-13. The
Wonder's lost their momentum on the Academy Award Movies Cat to trail
behind 20-16 and the Greatful Dead Songs Cat 25-18. We started
Wiggling and came came a little closer with the four letter female name
cats to trail 28-24. Cheyenne gave it her best at the end and scored six
points with Composers with last names beginning with B's to come up a
little short 32-30. Great Game was had by all and the Wonder's look
like they may soon be looking at some victorys. KEEP ON WIGGLING!!!
