(Commentary)  The wonders came out smoking as they tried to torpedo the wonders on the first cat going up 9-0 on the rap/hiphop cat.  The raiders came back led murf in the art movement cat to get it to 10-7.   Seagirl and others got it a little closer after the Rod Stewart cat to make it 13-11.   It was tied at 17-17 when the wonders fired torpedo number 2 when they beat us 8-1 on state capitals to take a 26-18 lead.   We needed a double point round to catch up and bot gave us one and we took the four answers on the 20th century painters to get it to 28-26.   Seagirl got the only 2 answers on the vonnegut cat to even it up at 28 all.   The raiders closed out the game in 7 letter womens winning 33-28.  After a comment to check out their message board we discovered the wonders had kidnapped our mascot (LOL wonders) pauly, so we had to win one for him.    We took  a 6-1 lead on the parts of a guitar cat.   we maintained that lead through the game winning game 2 30-22.   NOTE:  Pa!
uly did managed to fly home.

Great competition and 2 close games tonight.  The Rockers took the lead in the first game, to lose it in the second round.  They regained it again in the 3rd round and went on to win 21-32.  The second game the Liz^ards zoomed out ahead and had the lead after 4 rounds, 19-14.  In the 6th round, "Alabama things" the Rockers took the lead 26-24.  The next cat was "cities that begin with an "S"" and the score was tied at 28-28.  The final round, "Clue things" gave the Rockers the win with 5 answers to our 4...final score was 32-33.
GOOOOOOO LIZ^ARDS!!!!!!!!!

(Commentary)   Rocks came out a rolling on this friday nite,  we were a little outmanned but that made no difference to us.  In two very tight games, Rocks rolled to victory. Ribot was being very kind tonight and giving us cats that didnt make us feel so old LOL.  The scariest thing he did was name scary spice as a real name for people with the initials SS.  Cant you see her now going into a restaurant and saying "Hi, Im scary, scary spcie" Oh well enough of the side commentary.  This reporter forgot she had the game commentary until round 3 and then phone kept ringing here so i hope im correct.  Game one was a tight matchup with the difference in points never varying under seven.  The lizards are a talented bunch. But bot smiled on us in the birthday cat (and its baggirls birthday tomorrow) and we pulled off a rock sweep winning the game 32-21.  This brings us to game two and talk about tight competition. Rocks swept to a 5-4 lead in the first cat about valentines day.  Then !
the lizards decided to do some major slithering sweeping the next two cats 5-11 oscar actresses and 16-9 things associated with apples.  They continued to make the hair raise on our necks until Things associated with Alabama came up rocks pummel to a 26-24 lead.  But the lizards were not done with us yet, cities beginning with the word s comes up TIE ALL!!! 28-28 with nedi scoring four points for the lizard team.  Last and final category had the lizards guessing with things associated with the game CLUE.  Rocks clued in on the lizards and took the game by one point.  Final score 33-32.  Talk about a game that would have taken your breath away.  The lizards are a fun and talented bunch and we look forward to more tourney games with them.

This was a great two games...

Game 1 we were ahead the whole time but were embarrassed by SYZYGY getting RAT as a rodent.  We need to study our species and become more ethnocentric ratties!

Game 2 fourplay was making a comeback.  It looked kind of scary during halloween things and then... riding in from the sunset... was THE DUKE.  We slammed down 7 John Wayne Films and the game was over... and the slobber cup full.

The Six Packers have vastly improved their team to start this season, let me tell you!  They took us down in a grueling 3-game match that was about as exciting as they get.

In the first game, they seemed just uncrackable as they took an early lead of 5-2 on the Big Valley cat.  We were able to tie it back 7-7 on child actors, cuz we love children :-) it was the Presidential First Names cat that really killed us, bringing the Six-Packers to a lead of 20-12.  The two champ rounds that came before and after this cat only dragged out the suspense.  ^6 finished it out with Kevin Kline and pasta types to win it 30-18.

The second game seemed equally hopeless when the Six Pack almost swept Paul Newman, 6-1.  MilleniumLOL put his foot down and said "No MORE!!!" and went on to kick major butt on the Earth Wind & Fire and passover categories, helping us get back on our feet at 10-12.  Finally we were able to tie it 19-19 on the Airports cat.  There was no misunderstanding when Genesis came up next  we gave it the invisible touch and next thing you know, we were ahead 27-20!  Squeaking by on Biology courses, we forced a 3rd game, 30-24.

The third game, we took the lead to start 5-3 on Diane Keaton movies, but the Six Packers were quick to take back over, nailing us on Sigourney Weaver films to bring it to 19-15 Sixers ahead.  Defunct baseball teams was no help in lowering the gap, but brought the Packers to the five yard line (oh my! lol) and a double pointer led them to a 33-28 win.

Great game Six Pack!!!  We had a good time tonight.

The SeXy WiGgLiNg WoNdErS started off great sweeping the Raiders with our Hip-Hop knowledge and scoring 9 points in the first cat!!  Although we maintained a lead throughout the game, the Raiders slowly narrowed our lead and managed to tie it up at one point. (Most of us are still wondering who the heck Kurt Vonnegut Jr. is and what he wrote).  The Raiders took the game with 7 letter girls names and won game one.  Final score 33 - 28.

The tables were turned in game two and the Raiders took an early lead and they kept going strong.  Although there were many cats where we gained ground, they beat us in the end.  Final Score 30 -22.

Oh well, better luck next time teamies!!

P.S.  Pauly wanna cracker???
