The Rats were slobbering up the decks pretty bad in the first game. They lead the Raiders from the start, taking the game 14 - 31.
By the second game, the Raiders were able to plant their feet firmly on the deck and put up a good fight against the vermin. This nail-biter was tied, 20 - 20 in the 5th round. The Raiders pulled ahead in the Jodie Foster movie cat, 25 - 24, but the Rats snuck by us, 29 - 30, in the things related to Utah final round, to take the game and the win.

WHOOOO HOOOOOO LIZ^ARDS!!  ANOTHER GREAT WIN!!!  Our first game, we took the lead 4-2, then tied the next 3 rounds with scores of 6-6, 11-11, 13-13.  The next round, "Birthday Party things", we zoomed ahead with thoughts of Jacksons Birthday tomorrow, and scored 8 points to Sixpacks 1.  Both teams scored 5 points on the next round, and we took it home on the final round, "Countries with Coastlines" with a final score of 31-23.

The second game we took the lead in the first round, double points "Types of Armor", 10-8.  Again we had a tie in the second round, "Chinese Foods", at 13-13.  Sibil and I scored 6 points in the next round, "People you Tip" to give us a 19-15 lead.  The final round was a new cat to some of us, "Things that are Folded", and we scored 4 points to win the game, 33-23.  Sixpack was tough, great competition, and a lot of fun!

GOOOOOOOO LIZ^ARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is amazing to me what 13 rats in a room can do...

We took the first game very quickly... Baby Shower Gifts, Academy Award Actresses, Batman Villians, Robin Williams and Pooh Bear...

Lexine played under tornado and flash flood watch... Neider threw her a funnoodle to hold onto...

The second game the flintstone vitamins were starting to lose their potency and at one point we were one point behind.

It took every rat to get a victory 30-29... proving every point counts... in every game.

Thanks for the birthday win Ratties... We're in second place once more.  Lookout Lizards and Raiders... We want first.

That was a good game!  We were neck and neck for a good part of the game but they slammed us a few times.  Honorable mention goes out to pittybaby and cragio for having lag/booting problems and STILL participating AND scoring Great Job!!. Let's kick butt friday all!! See you all then!!! :)

Talk about the season of irony!  When a team has 1 win and 4 losses, the last team you expect their one win to be against is the Rockers.  Well, guess what.  It happened tonight!

It was a three game match that had us right on the edge of our seats the whole time!  We were a little nervous at the beginning, I think, but when we took the lead on things in a makeup case 6-3, I think we relaxed a little bit and came out strong.  After famous Thomases and a scoreless commercial starring Stephen Sondheim, we picked up where we left off on snake types, increasing our lead to 17-9.  Gone With The Wind and J names found the Rockers staging a comeback, cutting it close at 24-21.  But Robert DeNiro was our lifeline and we pulled ourselves out 30-24.

The second game started with us taking another lead on kitchen appliances, but the Rockers retook the lead on a cat I haven't seen before, foods with names of places in their names.  Weird-o-matic!  So with the Rockers ahead 11-10, we plunged into Virginia Cities.  They widened the gap to 16-12.  We did a good job of keeping up with them through passover and healthful food, but the Rockers knew their rented stuff and rented tuxedos for their photo finish.

Unfortunately for them, this was not the finish, though, as we prepared ourselves for the third game.  The LOLers took a 5-3 lead on types of dogs, and mirrored our first game lead at 17-9 on Star Wars Villians.  The Rocks hung in there and stayed with us to 24-16, LOLers still ahead.  Baggirl scored one for the Rockers on the San Antonio cat..and we heard some strange talk about that city..LOL!  The final round was a Double Pointer, so anything could have happened.  And the Rockers made a quite commendable effort in that round, taking six answers to bring themselves to 29  however it wasn't quite enough to bridge the large gap.  It's funny to think that one more answer for them and they would have won 31-30.  It was definitely a close game.

Well played Rockers, and GREAT attendance LOLers!!!  Congratulations also to the Rats on their win against the undefeated Raiders...there were 31 people in that room when I went in with Nedi & Shel to watch, and what a game that was!

Game 1 was not a pretty thing for team Wonders as 4Play jumped right out with a lead and then started pommeling with super duper rounds in talk shows, weddings, and dolls...basically they just kicked butt no matter how many times I tried to put their lucky hats into my personal hat check.

Game 2 started a bit better with the wonders taking the lead from the get go and never turning back with it.  Great round of baseball stadiums by jf and hoov especially!!

Game 3 was another story all together with it pretty well matched from the start till 4play really took off with HOT things and constellations.  Athena pulled us back a bit with her Carpenter's cat but 4play came back the very next round to take it all home for the win.

Good playing today everyone!!!
