| Ah, Star Wars. It's great, isn't it? Sure, a lot of people dislike The Phantom Menace (personally, I like it) but we all still love Star Wars. And of course, we all want to be a Jedi Knight, don't we? Being able to use the Force to push things over, pull them towards you, jump really high, run really fast and control the week minded. It'd be great fun. But there's one reason, above all others, that we really want to be Jedi's: to hit each other with lightsabers. The lightsaber fights are among the best bits of each film. They're all good in their own ways, and they're all different too. So here's a guide to the classic matches of skill, strength and funky swords which look and sound great. | Note: Obviously I can't include the fights from Episode III yet, whatever it may be called, as I haven't seen it. Obviously. You'll also notice that I missed out the fight Luke had in episode V with the Vader like version of himself on Dagobah. This is because this was all in his mind, and just a test from Yoda. Not a proper lightsaber duel. Also, battles from the books are not included. Coming soon: We'll be having our own lightsaber battles. With plastic lightsabers, admittedly, but it'll still be much fun and I'll be reporting back on that as well. Also, I'll be putting together a Jedi knockout tournament, to decide once and for all who the greatest Jedi of all time is. All the Jedi featured above will be in it, as well as Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Ki Adi Mundi, Mara Jade and as many others as I can find. Yay! |
