After witnessing Qui-Gon's death at the hands of Darth Maul, Obi-Wan also has to wait for the force fields to turn off before he charges Maul viciously, in a fight that's possibly even faster than the previous three-way fight. Obi-Wan and Maul both exchange a quick succession of parry's and thrusts, before Obi-Wan gets a hit in and cuts Maul's double bladed weapon in two, leving Maul with only one half. At this point, with both men wielding single bladed lightsabers, the fight seems to get even faster, and has a style and grace to it at the same time. With the fight obviously becoming a stalemate, Maul uses the Force to shove Obi-Wan down a pit in the centre of the room. Obi-Wan manages to catch hold of a small port coming from the wall, but loses his lightsaber. After a few moments of Maul tauntng him, he catches sight of Qui-Gon's weapon, and uses the force to call it to his hand, leap over Maul and slice the dark lord in two. This fight is also absolutely stunning to watch, and extremely exciting as well. However, the end of the fight lets it down slightly. Maul is taken completely by surprise by Obi-Wan's last move, but it does seem as though he would still have time to react. He should have seen this one coming. But it's a very minor complaint in an otherwise excellent fight.
