Obi-Wan Kenobi vs Darth Vader
While trying to turn off the tractor beam that holds the Millenium Falcon in the Death Star, Obi-Wan comes across his former pupil, Darth Vader, and the two engage in their final battle. Throughout the fight, you can tell that age has begun to take it's toll on Obi-Wan. He's a long way from the vibrant young fighter who took on Darth Maul and won. You also get the feeling throughout that Vader is maybe toying with him slightly, taunting him with what he's become. The fight ends when they reach the hanger which the Falcon is docked in, and Obi-Wan puts up his lightsaber, allowing Vader to cut staright through him. Obi-Wan disappears, right in front of Luke Skywalker's eyes. This fight really isn't much to look at these days. It's a bit on the slow side, and there's one pointless and silly moment when Obi-Wan tries a spin, one that's a lot slower than any we've seen the character do before. Obviously, this was in part due to Alec Guiness not being as young and spry as Ewan Mcgregor is, but we could've done without the spin. It is very interesting to watch now though. Just picture the closing moment of this fight, when Vader "kills" his former master, while watching Qui-Gon Jinn introduce the young Obi-Wan Kenobi to an even younger Anakin Skywalker in episode I. And then there's their father/son relationship in episode II. All of this puts a lot more meaning and emotion into this fight than there was before.
