Spider veins

Spider veins - caused by poor circulation, usually, which could be due to infection and swelling, heavy lifting, standing for long periods, straining when you go to the bathroom, high blood pressure, or lack of exercise.

To help prevent and clear them:
1) prevent constipation with a high-fiber diet or a fiber pill, and drink lots of fluids.
2) get exercise - walk, run, do something, but avoid standing around for long periods (sit if you can at least). You can also wear support stockings or socks to help blood flow.
3) Get supplements of vitamins C and E, bioflavonoids and zinc, which strengthen vein walls. Include flavonoid-rich fruits such as cherries, blueberries, blackberries and hawthorn berries in your diet (or as extracts) to improve the support structure of veins. Herbal supplements like gotu kola, horse chestnut, and butcher's broom are also thought to improve blood flow.
4) You may need surgery to remove them, but the above tips will help prevent their reappearance. Make sure you check with your doctor before taking on any unknown treatment.

Cysts - to remove sebaceous cysts, homeopathic remedies like Barysta and Hepar sulph. may be used (see a homeopathy store or dealer), but if they're not too large and infected or painful, they'll go away. If it IS infected, you can apply warm compresses (wet with hot water and place over cyst 15 minutes) 3 times a day. If it becomes white and bacteria-filled, you may be able to pop it with a STERILE q-tip (this may be painful) - then put an antibacterial ointment on and leave it open if you can (you can also cover with a breatheable bandage). If it gets really bad, see your doctor.
