Fungus

  • Eat Garlic for fungal infections
  • For athlete's foot: take garlic and treatment as necessary. Apply turmeric to feet. Keep feet dry and clean, clean shoes or replace them. Spray with baking soda to keep them smelling fresh.
  • To combat foot odor: Use an antibacterial soap. Change your shoes if they are also infected because they will reinfect your feet as well. Rubbing turmeric powder is a natural, easy cure (it will make your feet a little yellow, though).
  • Foot odor recipe: In a large jar, combine 1/2c powdered arrowroot, 1/2 c cosmetic clay, and 2 tbsp powdered ginger; cover, and shake to mix. Add 20 drops tea tree (or lavender essential) oil and shake again. (You may want to sift the powder through a fine mesh strainer to break up any drops of oil.) Store in a covered, dark glass jar. Apply as needed to feet or body. Stored in a cool, dry place, the powder will keep indefinitely.
