Dry Skin
- Please go to the Beauty Remedy for information on dry skin. Click on "SKIN" to find out how to treat dry skin.
- A simple remedy for dry skin is to apply a rich cream. Even petroleum jelly will work, however. Apply it when skin is damp (just after a shower).
- Some peeling of skin may be due to extra oiliness. In that case, wash skin regularly.
- An allergic reaction may also cause dryness and redness.
- Apply turmeric if the dryness is because of bacterial infection
- any baby oil in a spray bottle will moisturize. it will help if you put the bottle nozzle on "atomize" or "spray" versus "stream" so you get even coverage. you can also mix in other oils - olive is great for skin if you like the smell. it's really just a matter of preference. other oils to use: sesame is a wonderful moisturizer, also coconut (better on you than in you). other stuff you might want to put in there: a drop of your favorite perfume or fragrance, a little water to help emulsify and
separate the oil, moisturizer, etc. The spray will help keep a thin and not-too-oily layer on your skin.
- Take 1/2 tsp. of kaduka powder (mix with a little honey if needed) once a week until the dry condition goes away.
