It is a non profit organization, working for the needy people at burn unit of Sawai Man Sing Hospital.

Despite So much work load, plastic surgery and burn department has somehow lagged behind in its development. When other super specialties of surgery at SMS Hospital, Jaipur have their separate building complexes with adequate equipments, this important specialty with so much of work load does not have even a separate. operation theater. The operating time allotted to plastic surgery & burn center is grossly insufficient for its large number of patients.

The bed strength in plastic surgery and burn wards is also inadequate, resulting in gross overcrowding with patients lying on floor. burn unit, at times, accommodates more than 50 patients, many on the floor and this leads to cross infection. lack of separate ICU and disinfected environment in burn ward results in avoidable high mortality & morbidity rates.

Many of such mortalities could be avoided if the following are implemented:

-Separate independent operation theatres, fully equipped with modern instruments.

-adequate bed strength with sufficient space and disinfected environment.

-separate cabins and ICU for burn unit with adequate staff.

-life saving, antibiotic and other important medicines are made available.

-extra rich nutritious meals to patients in burn unit helping high recovery.

plans for renovation and expansion have been submitted to the state health department and the cost of which is estimated in the vicinity of Rs. 2 Crores ( 50% of Renovation and 50% for equipment in proposed new OT)
