About SMS Plastic and Surgery Unit:
Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College, Jaipur with its hospital is a premier institution of Northern India. it careers to a large number of patients no only from Rajasthan but form adjacent stats of Rajasthan like MO, Haryana and Gujrat. Plastic Surgery and Burn Department of SMS Hospital which has been in existence since 1970 also receives a large number of patients as evident room the following statistics - 

1 . Over 4500 patients have attended plastic surgery outdoor.

2. About 3500 patients were admitted in plastic surgery wards for various types of operations

3.About 2000 elective and 1000 emergency operations, including micro vascular free flaps, transplantations, cranio facial surgery etc. were performed.

4. About 900 patients with major burns were admitted in burn unit.

5. Besides plastic surgeon's services are frequently required by almost all super-specialties, especially Orthopedic, Neuro, General ENT Surgeons etc.
