Introduction

A short introductory
talk, touching on; the history of yoga, the type of stretching, the
background of the teacher, the breath, the connection between the mind,
breath and body.

1 Hour

In Depth Look at
Exercises
|
Take a deep look at a few
exercises. Study: how to fine tune the poses; the deep breathing; the
benefits; and the mind body breath connection for each pose. You will
receive a handout for the poses we study.

1 ˝ Hour
|
Yoga Class
|
Experience a beginners
yoga class incorporating the poses we looked at. We start with an initial
progressive relaxation, progress to stretches and balances and finish with
a final relaxation.
|
Our workshops are 3 hours in length with a mid workshop break time.
In each of our workshops participants take home yoga for the back exercise
sheets so they can continue to reap the benefits of yoga throughout the
day's, years and months to come.
