LEDAH
She was so beautiful so strong
and her gestures had no shadow
and were purple like her eyelids
She would go by go by
twisting the ardent hyperboles
of the diaphanous frenzies of the green ecstasies
Her words were
like brief cadences of a silver sea on a beach of onyx
Nearby and always distant
she would set ablaze the feverish light
in a spell of green gold and of red
Her smile wounded her face
but her hands seemed to form roses
Alone without a soul
she would go by
She was so beautiful so strong.
