Its About Time

When we met, we could each sense a feeling
That this could be more than just a casual fling
Little did we know the ups and downs we would live
But we knew how much caring and Love we could give

At the time, we were not sure, just where we might go
So our paths parted and crossed, we went to and fro
Our friendship grew stronger with each troubled time
Proving there is no mountain too high we can't climb

Once together, we realized how strong Love can be
But there were ties that binded us, we had to free
Now with those aside we could concentrate on Us
So, over trivial things, we shall never fuss

We spend our time, enjoying each others company
Giving of ourselves freely, doing so happily
The yearning to be, in each others arms and embrace
Knowing it is our desired and rightful place

We shall Love each other, to our Love be true
As you say this to me, I pledge it to you
I will give you my Love, my soul, and my heart
In doing so, we promise, to never part.
