Before you part, for the night, you set your next date

You have lots in common, and you like what they say
Making plans to stay in touch, if you can, each day
A feeling of comfort, you have in their presence
An overwhelming warmth, that at times is intense

As you reveal yourselves, it subtly is clear
Though you are far in distance, your hearts are near
You begin to wonder, will there be more to this
A gentle hugg, warm embrace, or a sweet soft kiss

As your feelings deepen, you may ask the question
Is this person special, could they be your true one
Only time will tell, the great giver of knowledge
As we take each step, carefully crossing each bridge

Hestitation may lead you to take a step back
But your will is strong, keeping you on the right track
For experience is learning, which means, to grow
Be yourself, be honest, if it's right you will know.
